Where such systems do not exist or are chronically underperforming, RI\u2019s crisis response lays the foundation for long-term, sustainable change.<\/p>\n<p><strong>RI International seek to hire : GBV Senior Officer <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Position Summary<\/strong>  <\/p>\n<p>The Senior GBV Officer will supervise the provision of safe and appropriate services to survivors<\/p>\n<p>of gender-based violence, and interventions to reduce risks faced by women and girls in the<\/p>\n<p>designated areas of RI protection program in Syria. The Senior GBV officer will provide remote<\/p>\n<p>support to the GBV teams in Syria in close coordination with the GBV coordinator. This includes<\/p>\n<p>technical support and a day-to-day basis support to ensure quality program implementation of<\/p>\n<p>GBV services in Syria. the position will also play key role in building the team capacity on case<\/p>\n<p>management, supervise the quality of Case Management services provided and support the<\/p>\n<p>program in the WGSS for a culture and practice of high-quality GBV programming in    <\/p>\n<p>emergencies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Under the supervision and guidance of the GBV Coordinator, the incumbent of this position<\/p>\n<p>will:<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Support the GBV coordinator in providing technical guidance, oversight, and support to the<\/p>\n<p> GBV team in the provision of quality case management to ensure the needs of GBV-survivors<\/p>\n<p> are met in a timely and consistent manner and ensuring safe and ethical data monitoring.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Under guidance from the GBV coordinator, provide oversight on the implementation of<\/p>\n<p>  community based. prevention activities to engage all community members including women,<\/p>\n<p>  girls, men, and boys in GBV prevention, response, and risk mitigation. This includes providing.<\/p>\n<p>  input on the training materials and tools.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Support the GBV coordinator in planning and delivery of technical trainings for RI and<\/p>\n<p> partners GBV teams in case management, GBV core concepts, GBV tools and resources and<\/p>\n<p> other topics based on the capacity building needs assessment and plan.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Support the hub\/partner staff in carrying out proper filing\/archiving of GBV related<\/p>\n<p>  documents\/files in line with the relevant standards and ensuring the confidentiality of<\/p>\n<p> documents, and the use of GBVIMS.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Support the GBV Coordinator in maintaining two-way information channeling between the<\/p>\n<p>  GBV coordinator and the hub\/partners and field-based staff on the day to day functions of<\/p>\n<p>  program implementation and follow up.<\/p>\n<p> \u00b7 Support the GBV Coordinator in reviewing work plans and provide timely update in case of<\/p>\n<p>    deviation from work plans for quick adjustments.<\/p>\n<p> \u00b7 Support the GBV coordinator in assessing women and girls\u2019 safe spaces needs from logistic.<\/p>\n<p>   and program needs and support in addressing the identified needs including guidance on<\/p>\n<p>   raising purchase requests.<\/p>\n<p> \u00b7 Support the field team on activities related to case management and programming of the<\/p>\n<p>   WGSS such as organizing participatory assessments.<\/p>\n<p> \u00b7 Deliver direct case management services for specific cases as guided by the GBV Coordinator.<\/p>\n<p> \u00b7 Responsible of establish and update the referral pathways for the catchment areas.<\/p>\n<p> \u00b7 Coordination with PSS Officers in Jordan for joint activities and support\/ CB activities to be.<\/p>\n<p>   provided, activities in WGSSs and for beneficiaries\/catchment areas of WGSS.<\/p>\n<p> \u00b7 Support the identification and co-design of IEC materials.<\/p>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS &amp; REQUIREMENTS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This position demands a dynamic individual with a demonstrated ability to achieve results in a demanding and fast paced environment. Creativity, flexibility, strong work ethic and a sense of humor are highly valued.
