Only short-listed candidates will be notified.<br \/>Female applicants and qualified applicants are especially encouraged to apply.<\/p>\n<h2>JOB PURPOSE<\/h2>\n<p>To provide effective coordination and specialized support to a full range of policy and programme activities that effectively meet food assistance needs.<\/p>\n<h2>KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not all-inclusive)<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Support Activity Manager in reviewing Field Level Agreement (FLA) proposals related to food transfer modality including beneficiaries, food and budget requirement, risk matrix in timely basis;<\/li>\n<li>Support Activity Manager for efficient coordination with Budget and Programming, Finance and Supply Chain for Activity 1 to ensure that the activities through food transfer modality are performed within the established targets following WFP\u2019s policies and procedures;<\/li>\n<li>Assist Activity Manager in pipeline management for food modality: monitor and review monthly plan vs actual distribution, recommend fund programming in coordination with Budget &amp; Programming, Supply Chain and Field Offices;<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and update the FLA tracking sheet and analyze the progress of the implementation of the projects;<\/li>\n<li>Consolidate monthly distribution plans of field offices for approval by providing comparison of the FLAs and distribution plans in monthly basis;<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and ensure accurate, timely recording of beneficiary numbers and distribution figures for internal and external reporting;<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate and liaise with other units such as Budget &amp; Programming, Supply Chain and Finance related to food modality, monitor and review Food Transfer Cost (FTC) and Implementation Cost (IA) and support the Activity Manager in an overall analysis of Act 1 budget;<\/li>\n<li>Provide efficient support in rapid situation monitoring, food distribution and monitoring of emergency response in coordination with VAM, M&amp;E and Field Offices;<\/li>\n<li>Review and release food distribution, Cooperating Partners\u2019 fixed cost, delivery &amp; distribution cost in WFP Financial Tracking System (WINGS) in coordination with Field Support and Finance Unit;<\/li>\n<li>Review creation of partnership and validate food transfer modality in Country Office Monitoring and Evaluation Tools (COMET) in coordination with Monitoring and Evaluation and Field Offices;<\/li>\n<li>Other as required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>STANDARD MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS<\/h2>\n<p>Education: First University degree in International Affairs, Economics, Nutrition\/Health, Agriculture, Environmental Science, Social Sciences with additional years of related work experience and\/or training\/courses.<\/p>\n<p>Experience: Minimum five years of working experience with three years of professional experience in emergency response, food security and\/ or implementation of program activities.<\/p>\n<p>Language: Fluency in written and oral communication skills in both English and Myanmar<\/p>\n<h2>DESIRED EXPERIENCES FOR ENTRY INTO THE ROLE<\/h2>\n<p>Additional experience in following functional capabilities is an advantage.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Programme Lifecycle &amp; Food Assistance: Demonstrates ability to identify key variables and contextual factors that affect food assistance problems and programmes throughout the lifecycle to inform  quality programme design or re-design.<\/li>\n<li>Transfer Modalities (Food, Cash, Vouchers): Demonstrates ability to implement, under guidance, food assistance programmes deploying the full range of transfer modalities with an understanding of basic principles guiding modality selection and implementation.<\/li>\n<li>Emergency Programming: Displays capacity to provide inputs into the development, implementation and realignment of high-quality emergency programmes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>HOW TO APPLY<\/h2>\n<p>To be considered, interested candidates are invited to apply via (https:\/\/www.wfp.org\/careers\/job-openings).<br \/>Only short-listed candidates will be contacted.<br \/>We want to ensure the recruitment process is fully accessible.
