Overview of the role:<\/p>\n

This position operates within the context of providing full support to the Scaffolding Sales, Estimation, and Operation team, producing estimates of job scopes\/BOQ\u2019s for tendering purpose, and providing suitable designs and calculations for scaffolding and access solutions offered, and in carrying out the works in line with Industry standards, in a safe, cost effective and efficient manner.<\/p>\n

What you will do:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Liaise with Sales & Estimation team and understand full project requirements by proper evaluation and estimation of scope and requirements<\/p>\n

\u2022 Provide dimensions\/BOQ to estimations team to support tender\/quote preparation<\/p>\n

\u2022 Provide optimal, value-engineered access solutions that support the job bid<\/p>\n

\u2022 Prepare detailed scaffolding layouts and accurate design calculations based on Client \/ Site requirement, conforming to the industry standards. <\/p>\n

\u2022 Coordinate with the Logistics department to ensure maximum utilization of available stock<\/p>\n

\u2022 Ensure all scaffolding solutions offered comply with company and country standards for quality and safety<\/p>\n

\u2022 Shall note all hazards and safety concerns when surveying a project to assist the Safety representative in preparing the Risk Assessments<\/p>\n

\u2022 Responsible for safety compliance of self when visiting sites<\/p>\n

\u2022 Stay up to date with all local\/country and industry best practice regulations and legislations with regards to technical requirements and QHSE<\/p>\n

\u2022 Maintain and develop comprehensive technical knowledge of products and services offering.<\/p>\n

• Experienced in detailed Scaffolding design<\/li>\n
• Prepare\/review tenders and BOQs<\/li>\n
• Designing all types of Scaffolding and Lifting solutions in accordance with the latest AFE Guidelines and<\/li>\n
• Practices, NASC, British, Local and International Standards ( non negotiable)<\/li>\n
• Formulate design solutions based on necessary calculations, and produce both 3D and 2D designs alongside supporting calculations<\/li>\n
• Representing the Company at Client meetings in a professional manner, protecting the Company from<\/li>\n
• any potential risk and ensuring a clear flow of communication to all relevant departments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge: –<\/p>\n

    • A Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Civil Engineering<\/li>\n
    • Proficient in 3D modelling using relevant software (Revit\/Navisworks\/Tekla) and 2D AutoCAD ( non negotiable)<\/li>\n
    • ETABS or other Structural design software skills (desirable)<\/li>\n
    • MS Office skills<\/li>\n
    • Dubai Municipality approved Engineer for Scaffolding Works and Services or be eligible (desirable)<\/li>\n
    • Member of the Society of Engineers or eligible for membership (desirable)<\/li>\n
    • A valid UAE driving licence. (drive to visit project sites)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Minimum Experience:<\/p>\n

      • 5 Years\u2019 experience in the Scaffolding Industry<\/li>\n
