The Manager of Business Development and Growth will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and managing any combination of Data, Information, and Knowledge concerning the business environment in which a company operates that, when acted upon, will confer a significant Competitive Advantage, or enable sound decisions to be made.<\/p>\n

Tasks & Responsibilities<\/p>\n

Scanning, exploring, and evaluating growth and diversification opportunities for APC.<\/li>\n
<\/p>\n
Vetting and building strategic alliances for growth.<\/li>\n
<\/p>\n
Business planning and supporting implementation of growth opportunities.<\/li>\n
<\/p>\n
Evaluating strategic decisions to improve APC bottom line and internal business processes.<\/li>\n
<\/p>\n
Evaluating and initiating emerging technologies and cost-optimization initiatives such as outsourcing of non-core tasks, electrifying dredging, etc.<\/li>\n
<\/p>\n
Undertaking special assignments while taking long-term view of APC business (E.g. Water, Energy, Sustainability, etc.).<\/li>\n
<\/p>\n
Benchmarking activities and performance with competitors in the fertilizers industry.<\/li>\n
<\/p>\n
Implementing a structured competitive intelligence process.<\/li>\n
<\/p>\n
Identifying decision-makers knowledge and intelligence needs.<\/li>\n
<\/p>\n
Maintaining data and knowledge sources and implementing a knowledge management process.<\/li>\n
<\/p>\n
Providing APC with regular actionable analysis and intelligence.<\/li>\n

Qualification -Academic and Professional Education: <\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\n
Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, finance, engineering, or any related field.<\/li>\n
<\/p>\n
Higher level degree is preferred: Master\u2019s in engineering management, MBA, or any related degree.<\/li>\n
<\/p>\n
Ph.D. is an advantage.<\/li>\n
<\/p>\n
Professional certifications in projects management, operations, quality, business analysis, or any related certifications is an advantage.<\/li>\n
<\/ul>\n
Work Experience:<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\n
10-15 years of experience in similar industry.<\/li>\n
<\/p>\n
Minimum of 5 years management and supervisory experience.<\/li>\n
<\/p>\n
Demonstrated track record overseeing business development and contributions to organization revenue and growth.<\/li>\n
<\/p>\n
Minimum of 5 years\u2019 experience of reporting to high level management.<\/li>\n
