Position Summary<\/p>\n

The role is responsible for the overall strategic direction and culture of the HR department for the Jordan office, and for overseeing the efficient and cost-effective management of the department\u2019s daily operations.<\/p>\n

Responsibilities:<\/p>\n

Develops Strategies and Goals<\/p>\n

\u2022 Working with the President, determines short- and long-term department objectives.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Develops strategies to meet the established objectives.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Works with department managers to determine monthly and annual goals and action plans.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Working with Finance to develop the HR budget.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Monitors expenses and ROI of key investments (e.g., recruitment budget).<\/p>\n

\u2022 Develops initiatives to prepare the company for long-term growth (e.g., succession planning).<\/p>\n

Oversees of Human Resources Manager<\/p>\n

\u2022 Establishes performance standards and metrics.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Oversees performance of daily HR operations (e.g., payroll, benefits enrollment, maintenance of employee files).<\/p>\n

\u2022 Oversees Recruiting and Hiring<\/p>\n

\u2022 Works with department leaders to determine present and future staffing needs.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Works with the HR officer to source candidates, schedule interviews, onboard candidates, etc.<\/p>\n

Directs Human Resources Initiatives<\/p>\n

\u2022 Works with the Director to determine annual benefits strategy and program. Oversees implementation of the program.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Oversees all employee-facing communication.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Directs other initiatives as needed.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Develops Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)<\/p>\n

\u2022 Determines and tracks the KPIs necessary to ensure the effectiveness of the department and of individual agents within it.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Reports on department KPIs to the management team.<\/p>\n

Role Requirements:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Bachelors\u2019 Degree<\/p>\n

\u2022 10+ years\u2019 HR experience, including 2 years in a supervisory\/ managerial role<\/p>\n

\u2022 Proficiency in MS Office.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Strong in English; bilingual in Spanish is a preference<\/p>\n

\u2022 HR certification is a plus<\/p>\n

\u2022 Familiarity with international operations.<\/p>\n
