We are looking to hire a Broadcast engineer to provide technical services for ARN studios, technology and transmission including installation, maintain and repair equipment used for the transmission and reception of radio broadcast signals such as transmitters, microphones, mixing desks, digital players, computers and hybrid equipment, automation system, network. Maintaining specialist equipment for audio production and interactive media.<\/p>\n

Key Accountabilities (Includes, but not limited to the following): <\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

\n
• Contribution to the development of the Radio & Social Broadcast infrastructure at ARN<\/li>\n
• Support and training of the On Air team<\/li>\n
• Resolution of technical issues in all ARN departments <\/li>\n
• General operational tasks & any other tasks assigned by Broadcast & Technology<\/li>\n
• Checking and monitoring all Broadcast & Technology equipment to ensure that it is operating properly<\/li>\n
• Find and replace faulty assemblies and parts on component level<\/li>\n
• Installing and maintaining new equipment<\/li>\n
• Knowledge of studio, transmitters, broadcast sytems,networks and telecommunication systems<\/li>\n
• To oversee that all studio, technical areas are in a clean and safe condition for operation.<\/li>\n
• Working indoor and outdoor<\/li>\n
• Working in shift for 24*7 operation and able to handle pressure in critical situations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        • 3 years within radio and social media environment<\/li>\n
        • Demonstrable experience of working in a tapeless broadcast facility<\/li>\n
        • Experience of the following would be advantageous: Analog\/Digital Mixer, AOIP, Headphone, Microphones, Automation System,News Systems, OB, Broadcast social media Cameras and application, Video Mixers, RDS, Audio Processor,transmitter, broadcast servers , desktops and networks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          • Fluent in English language (Arabic language desirable but not essential)<\/li>\n
          • In depth knowledge of broadcast automation and transmission<\/li>\n
