About the Role<\/p>\n

We are seeking a highly capable and motivated Technical Training Consultant for our Automotive division to play an active part in a team of dedicated trainers in developing competent productive associates by way of assessments, on the job development activities and coaching, supported with engaging training programs as required by Al-Futtaim Automotive Group, underpinned by the respective Brand standards. The role will cover training needs analysis, design, development, planning, curriculum design and implementation of technical training programs utilizing a blended learning approach, including impact measurement. Activities will include, Digital Material development, Video Recording, Face to Face Training Delivery assessments and on-site support and coaching.<\/p>\n

Job Duties<\/p>\n

\n
• Ensure all training material is up to date and in line with modern repair methods and technology<\/li>\n
• Responsible for delivering and supporting all components of associate progress through to certification<\/li>\n
• Arranging and conducting competency testing and assessments<\/li>\n
• Developing and updating training programmes and material<\/li>\n
• Reporting learner attendance, results, and any issues, with emphasis on protecting learner & customer data<\/li>\n
• Actively promote equal opportunities and diversity in accordance to company policy avoiding discrimination<\/li>\n
• Facilitate training needs analysis of retail market, advise according to market trends and distributor guidelines<\/li>\n
• Ensure compliance with management activities through one on ones and monitoring of daily distributor activities<\/li>\n
• Assist with the orientation, training and coaching of staff, management and other stakeholders to increase efficiency within the workplace in line with the associated business improvement required<\/li>\n
• Participate and execute adherence to company and distributor policy and procedure compliance<\/li>\n
• Ensure the successful implementation of distributor technical training, fix it right activities, value chain and distributor fundamentals training activities<\/li>\n
• Monitor, review and implement occupational health and safety, operational standards, technical support training activities<\/li>\n
• Conduct on-going dealer visits to identify individual training requirements, network support and complete post course follow up evaluations<\/li>\n
• Support all branches with training in relation to technical support in terms of campaigns, service schedules and equipment audits<\/li>\n
• Support new model launch activities and external company training by way of material development with the support of the technical training team subsequent delivery<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:<\/p>\n

  \n
  • High level of proficiency in both written and Spoken English, (additional languages advantageous)<\/li>\n
  • High level of proficiency with digital learning platforms & material \/ video editing software<\/li>\n
  • Driving License<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    A High-Level Qualification in:<\/p>\n

    \n
    • Technical area applicable to the technical discipline (Passenger Cars)<\/li>\n
    • Adult learning or training and assessment certificate or equivalent <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Minimum Experience: <\/p>\n

      \n
      • Min of 2 years of Technical Training or Coaching role <\/li>\n
      • Min of 5 years of Automotive Industry Experience <\/li>\n
      • Proficient to Master Technician Level or industry equivalent <\/li>\n
      • Customer Facing Role Experience is an advantage <\/li>\n
      • Assessment qualification is preferred <\/li>\n
      • Ability to demonstrate modern vehicle diagnostic and repair methods? <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        • Ability to train and coach, build relationships and utilize skills appropriately<\/li>\n
        • Ability to provide outstanding customer service<\/li>\n
