Job Purpose<\/p>\n

Responsible for Piping and Layout engineering for NFPS Compression COMP2 Project<\/p>\n

Reports to: Head of Mechanical & Package COMP2<\/p>\n

Job Context & Major Challenge(s):<\/p>\n

\n
• Provides visible safety leadership through active participation in the NFPS Compression COMP2 Project Safety Program<\/li>\n
• Reviews the detailed design deliverables developed by the Contractor and verify compliance with Company standards and Company objectives. Understand and communicate the requirements of Company to Contractor<\/li>\n
• Efficiently translate Company requirements and data into an efficient delivery from the Contractor and verify compliance with Company requirements, standards, specifications and instructions<\/li>\n
• Manage the Contractor in the safe delivery of the detailed design scope of piping & layout components<\/li>\n
• Monitor the progress and delivery of the engineering sections of the work scope<\/li>\n
• Key Job Accountabilities:Responsible to ensure Contractor deliver a complete Piping & Layout engineering deliverables during EPC execution<\/li>\n
• Review and comments on third party study reports to clarify \/ define impact on analysis activities (Including third party reports on FIV, AIV, Blast analysis)<\/li>\n
• Review and Endorse Stress Analysis Specifications, Critical Line List selection criteria and any other formal related stress analysis execution notes \/ procedure.<\/li>\n
• Well versed in CAESAR II static \/ dynamic modules.<\/li>\n
• Manage EPC Contractor\u2019s Piping and Layout disciplines resources and to ensure work completion on time<\/li>\n
• Responsible to check, review and appraise all piping & layout technical documents (specifications, calculation notes, drawings, etc.) developed by Contractor are in compliance with project scopes and requirements and identify potential risks to project if any.<\/li>\n
• Responsible for all model reviews conducted during EPC including monitors and reports actual progress including S3D model development to ensure Contractor completion of key milestones<\/li>\n
• Identify capital efficiency opportunities as far as possible<\/li>\n
• Participate in various project\u2019s workshop such as Hazardous Operations (HAZOP or HAZID etc) reviews<\/li>\n
• Works in a highly visible project environment with large capital expenditures and significant schedule execution pressures<\/li>\n
• Works in a dynamic environment that has high expectations for flawless project execution in safety, quality, cost and schedule performance which requires the incumbent to demonstrate accuracy initiative and the ability to multi-task as essential skills<\/li>\n
• Well established awareness of policies and procedures with high expectations for business controls compliance and to further develop controls to meet changing needs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Minimum Requirements<\/p>\n

  Qualifications:<\/p>\n

  Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent<\/p>\n

  • Knowledge and\/or Experience15+ years of experience in piping & layout discipline with at least five years demonstrated lead engineering experience in major capital projects and MUST have at least executed one detailed design of an Offshore Compression Project <\/li>\n
  • Experience with EPC contractors, sub-contractors and vendors involved in the oil and gas industry<\/li>\n
  • Demonstrated ability and sensitivity to work with people from a variety of cultural backgrounds<\/li>\n
  • Knowledgeable in International Codes & Standards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
