  Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n

  We are seeking Software Engineers to join us in Amman as Front end Java Developers. The Developer will work on the core development effort to achieve the project business targets. He\/ She will be responsible to manage specific sub work streams in a General front end and portal development team and will work with his\/her colleagues to achieve the project targets. He\/ She also establishes with the Web Engineering Team the portal patterns and reusable for the digital solution and makes sure the required patterns are available as a re-usable library on the respective platforms.<\/p>\n

  As a Front End Developer, your role will focus on working on project user stories, testing the developed features, and sometimes peer-reviewing a teammate\u2019s work. A large portion of your role will also focus around developing, testing, and publishing user stories to available test environments and in some cases reviewing pull requests by the developers and making sure best practices and coding standards are applied and respected.<\/p>\n

  Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Hands-on implementation of solutions in collaboration with a development focused team to provide technical expertise in the design and planning of solutions<\/li>\n
  • Capture and convert business requirements into technical specs and provides technical implementation solution and recommendations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Design<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features<\/li>\n
    • Author interface artifacts in conjunction with Front-end Engineers and Data Engineers<\/li>\n
    • Design API specifications to match business requirements<\/li>\n
    • Understand business requirements and translate to software development<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Build<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

      • Ensure code quality is excellent<\/li>\n
      • Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.<\/li>\n
      • Coordinating between front-end and back-end teams to complete business components<\/li>\n
      • Building reusable code and libraries for future use<\/li>\n
      • Review team pull requests and ensure quality code coverage<\/li>\n
      • Ensure proper integration with third parties and partner squads<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        • Optimisation of the application for maximum speed and scalability<\/li>\n
        • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.<\/li>\n

          Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n

          • Developer (2 \u2013 4 years\u2019 experience) | Senior Developer (4 \u2013 6 years\u2019 experience)<\/li>\n
          • BS\/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject<\/li>\n
          • Backend<\/strong>: <\/li>\n
          • Java, J2EE including frameworks Spring MVC, struts, hibernate etc..<\/li>\n
          • Knowledge and Experience on web services (Rest & SOAP Services) <\/li>\n
          • Basic knowledge on Portal technology, Content Management, Document Management System <\/li>\n
          • Database Technology stack like SQL <\/li>\n
          • Frontend<\/strong>: HTML5, CSS and related technologies, Java-script, AJAX, JSON, JSP<\/li>\n
          • Frameworks<\/strong>: React.JS (very important) , Angular, jQuery, Bootstrap<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            Good to have (Optional) <\/strong><\/p>\n

            • Liferay DXP Portal Technology Knowledge<\/li>\n
            • Java Portlet Specification Knowledge (JSR 168\/286 Specifications)<\/li>\n
