• Study tender documents for various oil & gas projects and power plant projects.<\/li>\n
• Attend pre-tender meetings and site visits for new Tenders & prepare detailed Site visit report.<\/li>\n
• Conceptual Design of Project and Cost budgeting for projects.<\/li>\n
• Cost Estimation for Electrical & Instrumentation Works (Electrical\/Substation Equipment, Control Station Equipment, DCS\/PLC\/ESD and related Control System, Cabling, Field Instrument, FOC Works, Lighting, Earthing, Communication, F&G and ELV System and Cathodic Protection Works).<\/li>\n
• Develop manpower, construction equipment mobilization plans & method statements.<\/li>\n
• Develop effective construction schedules for proposed Tenders in line with clients' requirements<\/li>\n
• Inquiry for tender materials\/supplies\/subcontracts.<\/li>\n
• Evaluate vendors and subcontractors\u2019 quotations.<\/li>\n
• Prepare complete package for submission to client include technical & commercial proposals including the applicable list of deviations in the clients' required format.<\/li>\n
• Review estimates and costs with the Head of Estimation Mechanical & E&I \/Management prior to a proposal being submitted<\/li>\n
• Attend clarification meetings and technical discussion with client.<\/li>\n
• Review and negotiate contract drafts with client during contracting period up to final signature of the contract.<\/li>\n
• Maintain up-to-date commercial knowledge of the local market including, tender results and Competitors price levels<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  • Degree in an Engineering Discipline (Electrical\/Instrumentation).<\/li>\n
  • Tendering procedures, discipline specific codes of practice.<\/li>\n
  • Preparing reports & records and Data analysis and tender review.<\/li>\n
  • Drawing interpretation and sketches, Conceptual Design, Materials Costs and quantities.<\/li>\n
  • Minimum 8 Years related work experience in Tendering and\/or Estimating and 4-5 years as Supervisory level on a live project.<\/li>\n
  • Negotiation and Computer Skills<\/li>\n
  • Kuwait Society of Engineers (KSE) Membership<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
