Main Responsibilities: <\/p>\n
The Planning Engineer is required to develop the most appropriate method and sequence of shut down and turnaround activities, in conjunction with the Project Manager, in order to ensure the project is completed timely, safely, and on budget. <\/p>\n
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following: <\/p>\n
\u00b7 Schedules, plans and oversees the entire program of work.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Plans, organizes, and coordinates planning activities.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Selects the most appropriate techniques and logical sequence of activities to complete project scope.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Inputs the work breakdown structure information in means to assess an accurate forecast on time, resources and cash flow of the project.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Maintains and updates technical records, prepares technical reports, helps in generating data for inputs to budgets, improvement in maintenance methods\/procedures, equipment replacement, etc. <\/p>\n
\u00b7 Attended & knowledge to work on Shutdown maintenance, Preventive maintenance, Corrective maintenance. <\/p>\n
\u00b7 Determines appropriate logistics solution in managing resources.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Sets up alerts for all important contractual and milestone dates.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Prepares cash flow, charts and histograms on planning projects.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Verifies critical path and interfaces between design\/ engineering\/ procurement \/ execution.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Monitors progress periodically and compares it with the baseline planning.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Updates the schedule based on inputs received from project team.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Prepares the monthly Progress reports.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Prepares the monthly Labor histograms.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Accumulates, collects and analyses data and information required for planning.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Bachelor's in Civil Engineering. <\/p>\n
\u00b7 Minimum 15 years\u2019 experience of construction and project planning experience, ideally on large-scale commercial, residential and industrial projects.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Strong familiarity with project management software, such as Primavera and computer literate.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Interpersonal skills, ethical values and commitment to continual improvement.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Capable of providing technical leadership in a multi-disciplinary construction environment.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Excellent communication skills (written reports).<\/p>\n
