• Teach music theory, aural skills and practical techniques to pupils entering and preparing pupils for examinations<\/li>\n
• Acquire appropriate teaching materials and resources<\/li>\n
• Motivate pupils and encourage progress<\/li>\n
• Create and maintain a network of contacts to ensure work continuity<\/li>\n
• Communicate with academic staff and parents<\/li>\n
• Ensure up-to-date knowledge and awareness of examination requirements<\/li>\n
• Assess pupils' abilities, providing feedback and writing reports<\/li>\n
