The Skipper is ultimately responsible for the safety of boat and as such, carries a duty of care to all on board. The Skipper is the person on board with the most experience and the highest level of risk awareness. It is the primary role of the Skipper to constantly assess the risks involved in all activity during a trip and reduce risks to an acceptable level.<\/p>\n
