Clean sheet group is seeking a senior (PHP) Back-End Developer. You\u2019ll be part of an agile team responsible for developing our independent web platform and applications using the latest frameworks and technologies. You\u2019ll get opportunities to learn and progress and contribute your ideas to help drive forward what we do and how we do it.<\/p>\n

What you will be responsible for<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n
• Develop and optimize a proprietary matching system to identify the best candidates for a client & job based on hundreds of factors.<\/li>\n
• Analyze complex SQL structures\/queries to identify pain points and optimize to improve performance.<\/li>\n
• Work with UI\/UX Designer to streamline software workflow and meet a business objective.<\/li>\n
• Power through ambiguity, make intelligent decisions, and collaborate with an agile team to achieve biweekly sprint goals.<\/li>\n
• Assist with the development of a modern container-based CI\/CD pipeline.<\/li>\n
• Ensure adherence to cybersecurity best practices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Requirements Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n

  \n
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, and 2+ years of professional experience working as a web developer.<\/li>\n
  • Expert at object-oriented and procedural PHP as well as the Laravel framework.<\/li>\n
  • Highly skilled at writing optimized SQL queries.<\/li>\n
  • Highly skilled in developing RESTful APIs and strong understanding of the HTTP protocol.<\/li>\n
  • Strong understanding of web security best practices to prevent XSS attacks, SQL injections, etc.<\/li>\n
  • Experience with front-end languages and frameworks (i.e., JavaScript and jQuery).<\/li>\n
  • Experience writing custom HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap elements.<\/li>\n
  • Writing \u201cclean\u201d code per company coding standards, in a timely and scalable manner.<\/li>\n
  • Troubleshooting, testing, refactoring, and maintaining the company\u2019s existing code.<\/li>\n
  • Experience working with Docker containers and Bash command lines skills are a plus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
