What You'll Be Doing:<\/p>\n

• Performs difficult and very complex O&M assignments involving the development, execution, supervision, and coordination of all technical aspects of the O&M project. <\/li>\n
• Maintains first level quality assurance to confirm to O&M of all work within his\/her discipline in accordance with the plans, specifications, and industry standards. <\/li>\n
• Supervises the O&M work and serves as the task lead for the PMC O&M efforts.<\/li>\n
• Reviews the performance of O&M contractor, subcontractors to assure contract compliance, accepted delivery plans, Emergency Response, Logistics, Resource Plans, O&M Reports, and Handover Plans to acceptable industry and stakeholder standards.<\/li>\n
• Supervises scheduling, document review, field inspection and reporting of O&M activities for several projects on designated sites and community facilities.<\/li>\n
• Supervises O&M Inspectors, ensuring that tests and inspections are performed, witnessed, and documented in accordance with approved procedures. <\/li>\n
• Monitors and coordinates all contractors' activities for assigned projects and area. <\/li>\n
• Collaborates with O&M management to eliminate any hazards associated with the work that may adversely affect the environment or the safety or health of employees. <\/li>\n
• Ensures that personnel of the assigned group engage in safe work practices in compliance with site specific safety procedures and industry standards. <\/li>\n
• Establishes and maintains liaison with the PMC team. <\/li>\n
• Reviews and interprets discipline design drawings and specifications to ensure current revision level and correct technical execution of the work. <\/li>\n
• Provides resolution for technical engineering problems within the assigned discipline(s); coordinates application of solutions. <\/li>\n
• Develops O&M schedules and monitors progress. <\/li>\n
• Performs high-level management, commercial reviews, and reporting consolidation of the O&M Team\u2019s activities.<\/li>\n
• Provides schedule and progress appraisal report to the Senior RE.<\/li>\n
• Provides technical review and approvals of the contractors deliverables such as Delivery Plans, Emergency Plans, Logistics and Resource Plans, O&M reports and Handover Plan.<\/li>\n
• Monitors material procurement and deliveries to ensure timeliness in support of O&M activities and schedule within the assigned discipline. <\/li>\n
• Ensures that materials received meet specifications and established standards of quality.<\/li>\n
• Organizes the accumulation of assigned discipline data for the final handover \/ turnover and report. <\/li>\n
• Initiates and maintains records, back charge procedures, progress reports, etc., as required. <\/li>\n
• Interfaces with the PMC team, client and upper level management. <\/li>\n
• Provides technical guidance to lower level field engineering personnel and regularly visits O&M site locations. <\/li>\n
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  What Required Skills You'll Bring:<\/p>\n

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering or construction-related field, or equivalent.<\/li>\n
  • 15+ years of experience in delivering, O&M of Utilities and Infrastructure projects, preferably in the GCC region. <\/li>\n
  • Experience in the large O&M programs is preferred.<\/li>\n
  • Requires a comprehensive knowledge of O &M processes, as well as industry practices.<\/li>\n
  • Requires excellent written and oral communication skills, a familiarity with PC software packages typically associated with O&M and facilities management and the proven ability for performing in a lead capacity of a O&M program.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
