The position is responsible to support the day to day Chemicals Laboratories ac_vi_es by par_cipa_ng from the project hazard reviews to the project execu_on. A successful candidate will have chemical laboratory experience. Working under the general guidance of the Senior Supverisor, du_es will include: assis_ng with the provision of the lab chemicals and materials; maintaining a<\/p>\n

chemical and materials inventory; gas cylinders changeout,providing day to day support for lab equipment; ensuring equipment are ready for use; assis_ng in the disposal of waste chemicals, and implementa_on of laboratory Health and Safety procedures.<\/p>\n

1. Assist with day to day lab workflows<\/li>\n
2. Maintain an opera_onal lab Equipment\u2013 maintain,repair and assist all lab equipment and ensure lab spares and consumables are adequately stocked<\/li>\n
3. Assist with shipment of packages, verify and maintain packing slips corresponding to orders<\/li>\n
4. Responsible for organiza_on of all the lab tools<\/li>\n
5. Enjoys hands-on work with laboratory equipment and materials<\/li>\n
6. Adheres to safe lab opera_ng prac_ces working in a complex lab environment<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

   V. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS<\/p>\n

   • Minimum High School Diploma\/Associate of Science in<\/li>\n
   • Chemical Engineering Technology\/Industrial Chemistry Technology<\/li>\n
   • Experience with High-pressure gas systems (high pressure cylinders, valves), pumps (troubleshoo_ng,replacing seals\/motors, understanding specs) product manuals (e.g., reading and applying knowledge to make repairs, troubleshoo_ng mechanical breakdowns (pinpoin_ng and fixing breakdowns), mechanical drawings (e.g., hydraulics, pneuma_cs).<\/li>\n
   • General Chemical laboratory skills Detail-oriented<\/li>\n
   • Experience working in team-based environments.<\/li>\n
   • Experience with basic electrical systems (e.g., starters,fuses, contacts, relays).<\/li>\n
   • Experience with PLC (e.g., industrial maintenance,computer control systems, etc.).<\/li>\n
   • Experience with preventa_ve maintenance (computerized preventa_ve charts\/data).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
