Responsibilities;<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n
• Leading the development team in the design, development, coding, testing and debugging of applications<\/li>\n
• Managing all the activities of the software development team and set goals for each team member to ensure timely project delivery<\/li>\n
• Manage the day-to-day activities of a distributed development team focusing on backend services development<\/li>\n
• Work with the product team to ensure the team has accurate and understood requirements<\/li>\n
• Work with project management to ensure project status is accurate and issues are raised up quickly<\/li>\n
• Work with the architecture team and front-end development team to design solutions and create common roadmaps<\/li>\n
• Keep up to date with the latest development technology<\/li>\n
• Hire and train new developers\/engineers<\/li>\n
• Provide guidance to the team and ensure they adhere to development standards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Key Requirements;<\/strong><\/p>\n

  \n
  • 5+ years of hands-on software development<\/li>\n
  • 3+ years building and managing high performance software development teams<\/li>\n
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field<\/li>\n
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills<\/li>\n
  • Experience using Jira for Agile project management.<\/li>\n
  • You have proven experience in leading development teams<\/li>\n
  • You have extensive experience in developing, deploying, and integrating software solutions<\/li>\n
  • You are a good mentor & coach<\/li>\n
  • You possess excellent problem solving, analytical and communication skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
