The Trade Marketing Specialist in responsible for assisting in the development of marketing strategies aligned with the brand strategies while focusing on distribution, display, promotion and price.<\/p>\n

Further, analyzing competitive price movements, display status, competitive promotions, sell-out data and direct the sales teams where to act on a regular basis.<\/p>\n

Key Duties & Responsibilities<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Execute trade promotional plan in designated channels with clients.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Looking after all trade promotion (placing promotions based on marketing calendar).<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Market visits- monitoring competitor activities, pricing strategy, current promotions, and stock level across POS (point of sale).<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Monitoring stock movement to stores, suggesting promotions or trade deals on slow moving or near expiry products or promotions.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Working with principles on planograms, promotions, merchandizing, etc.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Executing BTL activities (new product launch and listing, sampling, consumer promotions).<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Actively taking part in product launch (giving presentation to sales team on new SKUs).<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Forecasting for various trade deals, consumer offers and passing it to the demand planning team as per the agreed cycle planning calendar.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Follow up with sales team on achievements<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Market spend optimization and helping clients sell out stock thru diverse ATL\/BTL activities.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Tracking down the sell-out data by SKU and perform the required analysis.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Conducting market research such as customer questionnaires and focus groups.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Monitoring competitor activity, evaluating visibility & market coverage of our products thru regular market visits.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Bachelor\u2019s degree in marketing or Business Administration<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Certificate in trade marketing is a plus<\/p>\n
\u00b7 5 years of experience in trade marketing with preferably 3-4 years in FMCG & multi retail environment<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Creative, energetic, and proactive individual with strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Ability to think critically and creatively<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Very strong numerical and analytical skills – translate marketing initiatives into quantifiable measurable performance<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Very strong team player skills & strong report writing and presentation skills<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Excellent excel and powerpoint skills<\/p>\n
