The purpose of this job is to hire an English teacher for the Primary Years Program.<\/p>\n

Roles and Responsibilities:<\/p>\n

The main role of the English Teacher is based on implementing and teaching the primary students according to the International Baccalaureate curriculum. The following bullets briefly explain main duties and responsibilities of the job that is not limited to:<\/p>\n

• Create appropriate learning engagements and creating challenging and engaging learning opportunities for all students.<\/li>\n
• Motivate students to perform at their best through differentiated instructions and using varieties of styles.<\/li>\n
• Collaborating with other teachers to contribute students\u2019 success.<\/li>\n
• Monitor students\u2019 performance to enhance their understanding and master skills.<\/li>\n
• Monitor students\u2019 progress through effective assessment.<\/li>\n
• Communicate regularly and constructively with students and parents.<\/li>\n
• Use teaching methods engaging students, stimulating intellectual curiosity including the use of effective questioning, presentation and resources.<\/li>\n
• Set high expectations for student\u2019s behavior, establishing and maintaining a good standard of behavior management through well focused teaching and through positive and productive relationships.<\/li>\n
• Any other duties as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Job Qualifications:<\/p>\n

  \n
  • University degree in English Language or any other related field.<\/li>\n
  • Fluency in English language is a must.<\/li>\n
  • PYP experience is a plus.<\/li>\n
  • Computer skills at a level that permits creative use of technology in the classroom.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Key competencies:<\/p>\n

    • Able to prepare reports, worksheets and deliver oral presentations.<\/li>\n
    • Strong service orientation, flexibility and understanding of different school stakeholders\u2019 needs is essential.<\/li>\n
    • Presentation skills and ability to speak in public in confidence.<\/li>\n
    • Excellent planning, coordinating, organizing and analyzing abilities are essential.<\/li>\n
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with teachers at all levels in a multicultural environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
