Job Purpose<\/p>\n

• Reporting to the Construction Division Manager, the Head of Bridges and Flare Fabrication is responsible for managing the fabrication activities of the bridges, tripods, bridge support, and flare tower up to sailaway to ensure objectives are safely met within the approved scope and schedule.<\/li>\n
• Ensures that all his scope of work is completed in accordance with safety and quality standards applicable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Qualifications<\/p>\n

  • Engineering Degree or equivalent fabrication experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Knowledge and\/or Experience<\/p>\n

    • 20+ years of experience in topside fabrication with at least 10 years fabrication management experience experience in major offshore capital projects<\/li>\n
    • Experience with EPC contractors, sub-contractors and vendors involved in the oil and gas industry<\/li>\n
    • Experience with Qatar Projects<\/li>\n
    • Experience with Qatar fabrication yards preferred <\/li>\n
    • Demonstrated ability and sensitivity to work with people from variety of cultural backgrounds<\/li>\n
    • Worldwide experience with contractors in particular those involved in the construction of Offshore facilities<\/li>\n
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on teamwork and the ability to communicate and interact within a PMT<\/li>\n
    • Application and in depth knowledge of stakeholder specifications and a working knowledge of Industry standards<\/li>\n
    • Any Qualification, Technical, or knowledge requirements can be waived through relevant work experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
