Our client is a leading-edge technology-focused platforms company. They are currently looking to hire a "DevOps" with a solid background in information security, to join their team in Egypt. This work will be a remote job.<\/p>\n

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing reference architectures, reference implementations, and standards for both the cloud platforms and technologies as well as leveraging these to define solutions designs for cloud-based applications.<\/p>\n

He \/ She will work closely with architecture, operational, and security teams, you will play a key role in developing new standards, solutions, and processes to support the firms strategy.<\/p>\n

• Act as a bridge between developers, architects, and engineers to solve problems and enhance the security, reliability, and performance of the platforms.<\/li>\n
• Automate all aspects of the technology lifecycle from deployment through to decommissioning.<\/li>\n
• Build systems that proactively monitor the security, health, and performance of cloud applications.<\/li>\n
• Design solutions that leverage CI\/CD pipelines and processes to support smooth software releases.<\/li>\n
• Partner with development resources to ensure cross-tower activities are smoothly transitioned providing a seamless experience for end-users and solution development teams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  • IaaS – VMs, Storage, Networking, Images, ExpressRoute\/DirectConnect, Load Balancing,<\/li>\n
  • Availability Sets\/Zones, Scale Sets.<\/li>\n
  • Operations Management Suite (OMS), CloudWatch<\/li>\n
  • AWS Cost Management.<\/li>\n
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (preferably AKS and\/or EKS) specifically:<\/li>\n
  • Hands-on experience with OpenShift preferred.<\/li>\n
  • Expert level knowledge of pods, nodes, deployments (blue-green, canary, rollbacks, etc.), load balancers, and Helm charts.<\/li>\n
  • Deploying microservices \/ Java REST-based containers.<\/li>\n
  • Maintaining Security in a Kubernetes cluster.<\/li>\n
  • Deploying tools for container monitoring, metrics, and logging.<\/li>\n
  • AWS SQS and SNS.<\/li>\n
  • Strong server administration skills (Windows, RHEL, and Ubuntu)<\/li>\n
  • Hands-on experience designing systems for automation, orchestration, and system configuration tools (Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Bash, PowerShell, Python, Terraform)<\/li>\n
  • Experience with source code management (Git)<\/li>\n
  • Ability to anticipate production needs and provide architectural solutions.<\/li>\n
  • Experience with user acceptance testing and environment troubleshooting.<\/li>\n
  • Experience with working in DevOps teams and prior experience with automation projects (cloud)<\/li>\n
  • Experience with AWS big data solutions including, Kafka.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
