  Our client is hiring an experienced, Consultant Nephrology to deliver high-quality care for kidney patients and who is committed to providing excellent care in different settings: outpatient clinic, dialysis unit and inpatient wards.<\/p>\n

  <\/p>\n

  Your main tasks will be:<\/p>\n

  <\/p>\n

  \n
  • Caring for all patients on dialysis (hemodialysis or PD) and performing all forms of dialytic therapy (hemodialysis, hem perfusion, hemofiltration, ultrafiltration, peritoneal dialysis and CAPD;<\/li>\n
  • Reviewing\/performing histories and physical examinations conducted by Registrars and Specialists, planning patient work-ups and deciding on appropriate treatment;<\/li>\n
  • Receives referrals and consultations from other disciplines, according to his\/her specialty;<\/li>\n
  • Responsible for directing, planning, managing, and coordinating operations for patient care activities;<\/li>\n
  • Handles administrative and operational matters relating to the activities of the department and consults with the Head of the Department as required;<\/li>\n
  • Responsible to provide the highest quality of service to the patients under his\/her care within the resources provided by the program;<\/li>\n
  • Provides overall responsibility for all medical in-patients, outpatients and emergencies. Conducts regular ward rounds on all patients;<\/li>\n
  • Ensures implementation of the Ministry of Health regulations, the Hospital Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules and Regulations and the Emergency Room Department Policy and Guidelines;<\/li>\n
  • Participates in providing education and support for all junior staff in the department and supports continuing medical education, providing teaching materials as part of the professional development of the staff.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
