The Photographer\/Videographer<\/strong> is responsible for creating high-quality, emotive motion and still imagery to support Pencilvent <\/strong>& its clients brand and marketing\/communications goals. The Photographer\/Videographer works full-time hours, with some flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings, depending on when events are scheduled to take place. The Photographer\/Videographer performs the planning and producing of photo\/video shoots and completing all post-production processing – performs editing, correction, archival and file storage – performs digital imaging necessary to the production of high-quality photographic prints and images for exhibition, publication, research or preservation purposes.<\/p>\n

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/strong><\/p>\n

• Responsible for the timely creation of story boards for photo-shoots, videos, social media content, & even instructional videos<\/li>\n
• Shoots and edits photos and video imagery<\/li>\n
• Scripting and editing video in a way that increases shareability for social media outreach<\/li>\n
• Collaboration with internal creative department, and marketing team<\/li>\n
• Stays up to date with trends, market standards, and has the ability to integrate them into video and photography<\/li>\n
• Ability to work with a positive attitude, and contribute to group creative discussions<\/li>\n
• Works well with a team and thrives on creative storytelling through media as well as meeting individual design goals, in a fast-paced, creative environment<\/li>\n
• Work cooperatively with professional staff to accomplish departmental goals and meet established deadlines<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Required Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Expert use of Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Premiere Pro and After Effects<\/li>\n
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team<\/li>\n
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills<\/li>\n
  • Strong conceptual ability with knowledge of lighting, composition, camera\/lens combinations, theory and techniques of modern digital photography and cinematography<\/li>\n
  • Extremely organized, with the ability to manage a large and constantly growing library of assets<\/li>\n
  • Confident in assessing the goals of a project and determining what blend of assets are needed<\/li>\n
  • Ability to deal effectively and courteously with internal and external inquiries through proactive and helpful communication<\/li>\n
  • Ability to use data analytics and reporting in tracking media effectiveness<\/li>\n
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships<\/li>\n
  • Excellent management skills and the ability to prioritize work and maintain equipment<\/li>\n
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task<\/li>\n
  • Knowledgeable of best export\/encoding practices for delivery across a wide range of channels: high-resolution still photography for print, HD\/UHD video for broadcast, and optimized video and stills for social media including: YouTube, Vimeo, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
