SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER \u2013 MECHANICAL (BUILDINGS)<\/p>\n

Job Responsibilities:<\/p>\n

Review MEP deliverables including but not limited to the following:<\/p>\n

\n
• Deliverables related to Building MEP layouts, Utility layouts etc.<\/li>\n
• Layouts and details of the HVAC, potable water, sewer and firefighting systems<\/li>\n
• HVAC system and its components design reviews<\/li>\n
• Firefighting and potable water system and its components design reviews<\/li>\n
• Layouts and Details of the Potable water, Fire Water and Strom water pump stations elements including the pumps, pipes, valves and fittings etc.<\/li>\n
• Pump selection, Chiller selection and pipe sizing for all disciplines<\/li>\n
• Typical and standard details<\/li>\n
• Ensure deliverables are coordinated with the other disciplines and comply to contract obligations<\/li>\n
• Maintain compliance to Authority standards and specifications<\/li>\n
• Ensure proper interface with existing infrastructure, ongoing and future projects<\/li>\n
• Appropriate assumptions \/ factors taken during the review process<\/li>\n
• Manage Health, Safety & Environmental issues associated with the design<\/li>\n
• Maintain accuracy in records for works completed<\/li>\n
• Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Requirements:<\/p>\n

  \n
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable institution<\/li>\n
  • Possess minimum of 10 years buildings experience with at least 5 years work in the UAE in a similar position.<\/li>\n
  • Grade A office building design experience is a must.<\/li>\n
  • Strong knowledge of the Authority requirements and standards.<\/li>\n
  • Ability to participate in a multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural engineering team.<\/li>\n
  • Excellent knowledge of the MEP disciplines and its coordination works.<\/li>\n
  • Ability to coordinate and meet with the Designers, Contractor\u2019s and Authorities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
