Responsibilities: <\/strong><\/p>\n

• Prepares a wide variety of goods such as cakes, cookies, pies, bread, etc. following traditional and modern recipes<\/li>\n
• Assist with developing, implementing, and maintaining new recipes, presentations, and products.<\/li>\n
• Assist the Pastry Chef with the coordination and directing of the pastry operation.<\/li>\n
• Supervises the preparation and production of all baked goods<\/li>\n
• Prepares specialty baked goods for in-house and catered events<\/li>\n
• Inspect the quality of the ingredients and measure them for specific recipes<\/li>\n
• Pair recommended desserts with appropriate wines, cocktails, non-alcoholic drinks, etc.<\/li>\n
• Control the effective storage and stock levels, while always being cost-conscious<\/li>\n
• Check quality of material and condition of equipment and devices used for baking<\/li>\n
• Analyses food costs and determines most cost-effective recipes while maintaining quality<\/li>\n
• Identify staffing needs and help recruit and train personnel<\/li>\n
• Provides training and guidance to pastry staff performing related work<\/li>\n
• Ensure kitchen equipment is in good condition and meets all requirements<\/li>\n
• Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Bachelor\u2019s degree in Culinary science or a related certificate would be a plus<\/li>\n
  • Strong English and Arabic language skills (written and spoken)<\/li>\n
  • 5 years of experience <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
