As Technology Data Migration Analyst in the Technology BU, Technology Software Department, your role is to be responsible to create viable, technically well qualified, operationally stable Data migration approach-using (preferably SAP BODS platform), focussing on Source data extraction, across wide variety of ERP Applications(OQ) to serve objectives of ERP (SAP) Cloud business transformation project.<\/p>\n

As Data Migration Analyst, you will be responsible for building the analyzing the EBS \u2013ERP (Oracle) & ERP Surround solutions (OQ) and understanding the data extraction requirements of SAP Cloud Transformation project and bridge this with a detailed approach for extraction to fulfill this. Further designing this \u2013operationally and participating in its collaborative execution shall also be part of your responsibilities.<\/p>\n

You shall work effectively as part of Technology Software Team, to understand, complement, influence and guide the proposed solutions to achieve improved business outcomes and operations enhancements by continuously applying Data Migration best practices and methodology. We are already recommending usage of SAP BODS collaborative platform to perform this activity and your expertise on the same is necessary.<\/p>\n

You have in-depth understanding of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) domain for communications service provider (CSP) and digital service provider (DSP) business models, processes and operating environments, technology and application systems and software development and delivery methodologies, focussing on Data Migration domain. <\/p>\n

Additionally you are expected to be expert on Oracle EBS ERP Platform data model backed by experience of delivering similar data migrations for other implementation, especially focussed on ERP & its surround application data migration. Expert understanding of Oracle EBS ERP & SAP BODS would also be appreciated..<\/p>\n

You would work as team member of the Data Migration Analyst team, in multi-cultural, agile and fast pace environment and deliver business results.<\/p>\n

You are an experienced professional with strong communications, collaboration, negotiations and stakeholder management skills and able to demonstrate thought leadership for business and digital transformation.<\/p>\n

Your experience working in Middle-East and understanding Middle-East\/Qatar market is considered a plus.<\/p>\n

Main responsibilities shall include:<\/p>\n

• Assess and qualify demands for Data Migration \u2013 primarily data extraction expectation from SAP Cloud program for Source data extraction across various Business Units within Enterprise business (Finance, Supply Chain, HR) <\/li>\n
• Probe for information, listen to information, influence people, facilitate consensus building, synthesize and translate ideas into actionable data extraction approach expected. Identify use or purpose, constraints, risks and participate in the discovery and documentation of the data extraction scenarios that are to be realised.<\/li>\n
• Analyze and understand Data Migration Strategy overall, Objectives and Requirements and translate them into actionable Solutions mainly focused around Data extraction<\/li>\n
• Define EBS Oracle and surround ERP source system data extraction approach to serve the overall Data Migration apporach for To-Be SI solution.<\/li>\n
• Define and analyses various data extract approaches, data cleansing approaches, advise about best suited solution approach ,appreciate pros and cons, Out-of box Solution fitment from a SAP BODS capabilities perspective<\/li>\n
• Contribute in review and impact analysis of the current EBS and ERP surround environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend steps improvement, especially for foreseen issues during Data Extraction and overall the Migration objective.<\/li>\n
• Own and detail Data extraction steps based on standard approach and using tool driven mechanism (thereby SAP BODS) and maintain decision register and operational journal at all stages, recording the decisions and execution iteration statistics and success, failure counts and reasons and their root cause analysis. Also responsible to socialize solution decisions with stakeholders.<\/li>\n
• Communicate and present Data Extraction and migration Solution details to business and technology stakeholders at various levels in the organization<\/li>\n
• Perform and participate operationally in the Data Extraction and Migration legs across various iterations of the Project<\/li>\n
• Conduct and produce Impact Assessment and Feasibility, Solution Risk Assessment Reports etc. to support decision-making and solution implementations<\/li>\n
• Review Artefacts of Solutions and provide timely feedback with suggestive inputs where course correction is needed, to ensure business and technology objectives are met, architecture best practices are applied and expected outcomes are achieved<\/li>\n
• Work closely with other Architects, Delivery teams, Software application leads and advise , align Data Migration Analysts of SI and execute the Data extraction steps. Collaboration with Business stakeholders for queries, clarification, approval is must for the same.<\/li>\n
• Support Program and Project management to plan and manage solution delivery including but not limited to business and technology stakeholders management and risk management<\/li>\n
• Work closely with project and especially solution and data migration management teams, technology and business stakeholders to align objectives and expectations, to plan for improvements or enhancements, to identify and mitigate risks and to build workable solution \u2013especially focussing on data migration<\/li>\n
• Determine operational objectives by interacting with users and studying business functions; gathering information<\/li>\n
• Analyze current business processes, work methods, application functions , operations, assets and artefacts, propose improvements and as appropriate manage\/monitor implementation to expected conclusion \u2013 from data extraction and migration context<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Minimum Experience and Essential Knowledge<\/p>\n

  • Minimum 14 years of work experience of which minimum 10 years in the Technology Domain<\/li>\n
  • Minimum 6 years of qualified experience on the requested role of Technology ERP Data Migration Analyst \/ Lead Subject Matter Expert for ERP Solution Domain with proven track record demonstrating data Migration\u2014extraction and data cleansing expertise \u2013especially SAP BODS tool expertise <\/li>\n
  • Maximum years of experience working in the Telecommunications Industry, demonstrating solid understanding of ERP domain, Telecom Business Models, Operating Environments and Applications across Technology, Sales, Marketing, Customer Care, Finance, Regulatory and Legal and Telecom BSS\/OSS Information Technology and Software Systems<\/li>\n
  • Ability to demonstrate subject matter expert level expertise in the area of Solution Design including but not limited to following areas:<\/li>\n
  • Data Migration core proficiency for ERP solution data Migration<\/li>\n
  • SAP BODS \u2013 Data migration, cleansing, quality measurement, reporting skills<\/li>\n
  • Telecom and IT Operating Model and Processes and Applications<\/li>\n
  • Business and Information Systems Solution experience for ERP applications, EBS Oracle and SAP \u2013 both desirable. Atleast 1 \u2013EBS Oracle mandatory<\/li>\n
