KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES \/ PERFORMANCE MEASURES:<\/p>\n

Gathers evidence in Labors, civil, criminal, and other cases to formulate defense or to initiate legal action.<\/li>\n
Conducts research, interviews clients, and witnesses and handles other details in preparation for trial.<\/li>\n
Prepares legal briefs, develops strategy, arguments and testimony in preparation for presentation of case.<\/li>\n
Files brief with court clerk<\/li>\n
Represents the company in court, and before quasi-judicial or administrative agencies of government.<\/li>\n
Interprets laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.<\/li>\n
Confers with colleagues with specialty in area of lawsuit to establish and verify basis for legal proceedings<\/li>\n
Advises the company concerning transactions of business involving internal affairs, stockholders, directors, officers and company relations with general public.<\/li>\n
Prepares business contracts, pays taxes, settles labor disputes, and administers other legal matters<\/li>\n
