Overview of the Role:<\/p>\n

Manage the provision of Direct Purchases, operation services for Al-Futtaim Group in Egypt (Non-Engineering Consultation, IT, HR, Automotive and Logistics) Leading the selection process and appointment of Vendors and Suppliers, Manage market Research process to Develop new Vendors.<\/p>\n

What Will You Do<\/p>\n

\n
• Leading the selection process of vendors & suppliers to ensure maximum operational efficiency across all Al Futtaim entities in Egypt.<\/li>\n
• Manage Market research process by adding new vendors and ongoing demonstration to the market to increase the data base vendors.<\/li>\n
• Manage periodical Vendors & suppliers\u2019 evaluation.<\/li>\n
• Assure that all the technical specifications and the Bill of Quantity (BOQ) are properly defined to avoid variations during the implementation.<\/li>\n
• Identifying the internal needs and services for Al Futtaim entities in Egypt to avoid any service disruption.<\/li>\n
• Initiating tenders (open tendering, selective tendering , negotiated tendering, etc) , preparing, reviewing and finalizing technical and commercial comparisons.<\/li>\n
• Communicate RFQ\u2019s & RFT\u2019s to the vendors<\/li>\n
• Manage Financial\/Technical consolidation process including technical compliance, terms of payments and delivery date.<\/li>\n
• Cost saving report Initiatives.<\/li>\n
• Lead negotiations for an optimum quality and financial proposals.<\/li>\n
• Negotiating Contractual and payment terms with the awarded vendors.<\/li>\n
• Validate prices based on the item technical data and perform market survey for the trades \/ items related to the required scope.<\/li>\n
• Validate POs on ARIBA P2P system<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Required skills to be successful:<\/p>\n

  • Proficient in MS office (MS Excel \/ Word) and Knowledge of proprietary.<\/li>\n
  • Hands-on knowledge & experience working with ERP tools like SAP MM & procurement specific system like ARIBA P2P<\/li>\n
  • Experience in procurement process, form of Contracts<\/li>\n
  • Negotiation skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    What equips you for the role:<\/p>\n

    • 6+ years of experience in procurement or commercial role (Contractors, Clients, Consultants and Developers)<\/li>\n
    • Knowledge of procurement process, procedures, preparing, managing costs and administering contracts gained through formal training or work experience.<\/li>\n
    • Bachelor\u2019s Degree or Equivalent. Degree in Procurement \/ Supply Chain is a plus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
