• Be responsible for compliance with legislation relating to the Harbour as a statutory and competent harbour authority.<\/li>\n
• Ensure hydrographic surveys of the bar, the approach channel, the turning basin and enclosed dock are conducted at regular intervals.<\/li>\n
• Ensure maintenance dredging is undertaken as required to maintain the advertised depth at the bar, the approach channel, the turning basin and enclosed dock<\/li>\n
• Ensure monitoring of Safe Working Procedures is carried out at regular intervals.

• Ensure all maintenance and inspections of the Port\u2019s floating plant, equipment and harbour infrastructure is carried out in accordance with established procedures.<\/li>\n
• Carry out the duties of Deputy Port Security Officer as and when required<\/li>\n
