Hiring Geological Engineer<\/h4>\n

Main Duties<\/h4>\n

\u2022 Prepare detailed studies and short-term plan for existing quarries to cover annual production budgeted raw materials quantities.<\/h4>\n

\u2022 Execute the quarry plan and undertake prospecting for raw material<\/h4>\n

\u2022 Arrange detailed study of raw material deposit<\/h4>\n

\u2022 Supervise surveying, drilling and sampling programs for active quarries<\/h4>\n

\u2022 Examine rocks, minerals and fossil remains to identify and determine litho-logical sequence, chemical properties that affecting of existing quarries<\/h4>\n

\u2022 Conduct core logging, preparing samples, and coordinate with Quality Control Department for the analysis.<\/h4>\n

\u2022 Correlate the analysis of core samples with the raw material and establish the useable reserves for future planning.<\/h4>\n

\u2022 Delineate dolomite and other waste materials occurring in quarry and coordinate with extraction sub-section for removal of these overburden\/waste materials.<\/h4>\n

\u2022 Responsible for the compatibility between the quality and quantities as per stockpile design and capacity.<\/h4>\n

Qualifications<\/h4>\n

\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree in Mining\/ Geology Engineering<\/h4>\n

\u2022 2+ years of experience in a Mining<\/h4>\n

\u2022 Knowledge of the principles and practices of mining operations procedures with working knowledge of cement manufacturing process and equipment<\/h4>\n

\u2022 Understanding of quarry exploration; experience in a quarry is real plus<\/h4>\n

\u2022 The applicant should be proficient in the use of AutoCAD and dealing with aerial maps<\/h4>\n

\u2022 The applicant should master the study of geological and topographic maps and their field analysis.<\/h4>\n

\u2022 Should have knowledge of the laws and regulations of the Energy and Minerals Regulatory Authority<\/h4>\n

\u2022 Knowledge of the principles and practices of mining operations procedures with working knowledge of cement manufacturing process and equipment<\/h4>\n
