Job Family Group Description – Finance: Gathers jobs supporting the business through financial services, such as business planning and performance analysis, risk management, tax and administration. Job Family Description -Accounting and Consolidation: Oversees the maintenance of our company's general ledger and related accounting practices, including payables, receivables, inventories, fixed assets and payrolls. Sub-Job Family Description – Accounting\/Administration: Supports our business by performing professional accounting work involving the compilation, consolidation and analysis of financial data.
Key Accountabilities:<\/p>\n

\n
• Reconcile all GL Accounts (within Blackline)and ensure all account balances are adequately supported.<\/li>\n
• Maintain (create, update, delete) and monitor the fixed assets system along with manual depreciation runs.<\/li>\n
• Support in accurate and timely monthly and year-end close.<\/li>\n
• Support for the operation of all accounting systems and records, including, but not limited to:<\/li>\n
• Intercompany invoices and reconciliation, expenditures, inventory, assets, payroll, cut off, payments, bank reconciliation.<\/li>\n
• Monitor compliance with international accounting principles (IFRS), company procedures, and local regulations.<\/li>\n
• Support in preparing the following reports on monthly basis: –\n

  • Profit or loss Statement<\/li>\n
  • Balance sheet<\/li>\n
  • Cash flow statement<\/li>\n
  • Receivables Ageing report<\/li>\n
  • Payables \/ Inter company reports<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
  • Analyze transactional processes and recommend areas where additional accuracies and efficiencies can be achieved.<\/li>\n
  • Liaison with external\/internal auditors and ensure smooth completion of the assignment.<\/li>\n
  • Prepare work papers and supporting schedules required by the auditors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Qualifications:<\/p>\n

    \n
    • Bachelor's in Commerce – Finance & Accounting or similar<\/li>\n
    • CA Inter or ACCA candidates preferred<\/li>\n
    • Minimum five years of UAE experience in a similar profile<\/li>\n
    • Audit background preferred<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Skills and knowledge:<\/p>\n

      \n
      • Strong communication and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n
      • Strong organizational and time management skills<\/li>\n
      • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word<\/li>\n
      • Knowledge of AS400 – Hyperion – Oracle JDE (ERP) is preferred<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
