Stantec is currently seeking a Healthcare Architect\/Planner for our Dubai and Abu Dhabi office who are collaborative team players focused on delivering innovative design solutions.
As a Healthcare Architect\/Planner, you are responsible for the medical planning effort toward the successful completion of complex healthcare facilities provide overall programming, master planning, design and medical planning communicate with Healthcare Led\/clients\/user groups to understand project requirements represent the firm as a technical expert.
You should have the ability to combine imagination with technical know-how to implement designs.
Responsibilities:
.tDevelop SOA, Stacking diagrams & layouts as per the local norms and client's operations model.
.tSupport and guide our dynamic multi-talented Architecture and ID teams for healthcare projects
.tAbility to handle client presentations\/workshops independently, with experience as subject matter expert.
.tGood at client servicing and relationships building.
.tAbility to deliver healthcare projects in coordination with the Project Manager as per WBS (work breakdown structure)
.tKnowledge of ME healthcare market and authority approval processes.
.tAbility to deliver multiple projects simultaneously with a solid track record.
.tKnowledge of market trends and innovations.
.tProvide direction to junior team members to develop in-house expertise and methodologies (design, technical and quality standards, etc.) to advance the group and the efficiency and effectiveness of our architectural work.
.tProvides technical knowledge in the design and planning of various-d medical and healthcare facilities.
.tEnsures project inter-disciplinary and quality control coordination.
.tDevelops architectural drawings to communicate planning concepts for project documentation and construction.
.tCommunicates planning concepts to project teams, both verbally and through graphic and written reports.
.tActively seeks new knowledge in the design and planning of medical and healthcare facilities.

Qualifications:<\/strong>
.tA degree in Architecture is required with minimum 10 (ten) years of architectural experience. Architecture license preferred
.tDemonstrated creativity, passion and interest in design and planning of healthcare facilities
.tAdvanced knowledge of progressive technical and local and international regulatory requirements for healthcare facilities design and understanding of fundamental departmental organization and functionality.
.tAdvanced knowledge of healthcare delivery systems and how design impacts those systems public\/private space, adjacencies, staff and patient flow, support functions, central plant, etc.
.tAbility to communicate both verbally and in writing ability to convey medical planning needs to designers and other team members.
.tPro-active attitude, attention to detail, and organized with leadership goals.
.tAbility to work in an energetic and challenging work environment.
.tRegistration with a relevant professional association (e.g. AIA, RIBA etc).
.tDemonstrated experience in a variety of project types and project delivery methods.
.tStrong interest in the art of design presentations.
