What You'll Be Doing:<\/p>\n

\n
• Provide qualified technical sustainability support for Projects to enable achievement of sustainability goals and targets<\/li>\n
• Prepare and deliver training to Project teams at kick-off and early project stages<\/li>\n
• Assist with all aspects of registration to enable projects to obtain required licenses \/ permits\/ approvals from authorities or certifying bodies (e.g. UPC, GORD, MME etc.)<\/li>\n
• Coordinate with authorities, certifying bodies and Clients to enable approvals \/ permits on technical deliverables<\/li>\n
• Oversee the successful achievement of sustainability scope during Project design and construction supervision<\/li>\n
• Prepare and \/ or review technical studies, reports, plans, narratives and supporting documentation to ensure achievement of sustainability deliverables and targets<\/li>\n
• Provide technical input during design, tendering and construction supervision<\/li>\n
• Review deliverables prepared by consultants and contractors for accuracy and quality<\/li>\n
• Respond to RFIs and other technical queries and coordinate with stakeholders to obtain information as required<\/li>\n
• Conduct design and construction audits and site inspections and monitor implementation of corrective actions<\/li>\n
• Coordinate and participate in meetings with Client, environmental agencies, consultants and contractors<\/li>\n
• Prepare meeting minutes, progress reports and presentations; deliver presentations<\/li>\n
• Prepare scopes of work, task orders, and conduct evaluations for procurement of sustainability sub-consultants<\/li>\n
• Monitor the performance of sub-consultants.<\/li>\n
• Assist with development and administration of process \/ performance improvement tools for Projects and Facilities<\/li>\n
• Participate in regional meetings<\/li>\n
• Assist with coordination and delivery of training and awareness activities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  What Required Skills You'll Bring:<\/p>\n

  • Bachelors degree in Architecture or Engineering with at least 15 years of experience (10 years in sustainability role), enabling building and infrastructure Projects to successfully achieve sustainability accreditations.<\/li>\n
  • Accredited in one or more sustainability rating systems (LEED AP, Envision, BREEAM, Green Roads, GSAS, Estidama, AlSa\u2019afat).<\/li>\n
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language.<\/li>\n
  • Experience liaising with consultants, contractors, and design and construction teams.<\/li>\n
  • Project management and client interface experience a plus<\/li>\n
