Responsibilities <\/p>\n
Within delegated authority, the Digital Content Specialist will be responsible for the following duties:<\/p>\n
General: <\/p>\n
\u25cf Writing, reviewing, editing, and updating content for company websites, blogs, marketing materials, and similar platforms, creating inspirational, informative and engaging content. <\/p>\n
\u25cf Plan, produce and create a program of digital content to be used across all our digital channels, increasing engagement with our audiences and stakeholders. <\/p>\n
\u25cf Develop creative ideas, suggest new innovative ways of delivering digital content and keep upto-date with the latest digital marketing trends.<\/p>\n
\u25cf Conducting research and interviews to learn more about current trends, developments, and perceptions about the subject matter, and then contextualising your findings. <\/p>\n
\u25cf Participate in regular departmental and cross departmental progress meetings.<\/p>\n
\u25cf Train and share knowledge with internal teams wherever possible to empower them to manage their own areas with ad-hoc support.<\/p>\n
\u25cf Create graphics and edit photos, working with the internal design team when necessary. <\/p>\n

Branding and Marketing <\/p>\n
\u25cf Create awareness and interest within our audiences and stakeholder groups, driving traffic to engage with digital content. <\/p>\n
\u25cf Utilising SEO methods to increase site traffic.<\/p>\n
\u25cf Monitor, analyse and report on the performance of digital channels\/activities using tools like Google Analytics, SA360 and Bing feeding back to stakeholders and using the data to inform future activities. <\/p>\n
\u25cf Contribute to and work with relevant team and stakeholders to develop, manage and implement the digital side of integrated marketing campaigns. <\/p>\n
\u25cf Contribute to online branding and possibilities that lead to more conversions, based on gathered data. <\/p>\n

Ecommerce <\/p>\n
\u25cf Contribute to website development and optimisation; identify the areas for improvement.<\/p>\n
\u25cf Using social media to engage consumers, respond to questions or complaints, and to promote company initiatives. <\/p>\n
Education and work experience: <\/p>\n
\u25cf Degree in field of marketing and communication or online\/digital marketing or a similar field.<\/p>\n
\u25cf Experience in creating strong, engaging content for different digital channels like social, search, web and blogs.<\/p>\n
\u25cf A portfolio of applicable outputs. <\/p>\n
\u25cf An understanding of SEO best practices.<\/p>\n
\u25cf Experience with content management systems (WordPress). <\/p>\n

Competencies: <\/p>\n
\u25cf Fluency, both written and verbal, in Arabic and knowledge of the English language is required.<\/p>\n
