Roles & responsibilities: <\/strong><\/p>\n

• Providing prevention and intervention in the form of counseling sessions as well as offering social emotional leaning classes. <\/li>\n
• Offering timely, professional, and constructive follow up with students, parents, and teachers.<\/li>\n
• Maintaining confidentiality of students and student issues within the confines of the school policy and procedures.<\/li>\n
• Refering students to external professionals when needed, and coordinate with them as required.<\/li>\n
• Contributing to creation, dissemination, and data gathering of surveys within the schools.<\/li>\n
• Attending and contribute to school programs and activities.<\/li>\n
• Monitoring student behavioral and academic performance.<\/li>\n
• Any other duties as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Job requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  \n
  • University degree in Counseling, Preventive Mental Health, or Social Work, or Clinical Psychology.<\/li>\n
  • Basic counseling and therapy skills is a plus.<\/li>\n
  • 2 or more years of experience.<\/li>\n
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic is essential.<\/li>\n
  • Strong service orientation, flexibility and understanding of different school stakeholders needs.<\/li>\n
  • Excellent communication skills.<\/li>\n
  • Excellent leadership skills with a gift to motivate and inspire students.<\/li>\n
  • Ability to build trust and promote positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues'.<\/li>\n
  • Pursuing innovation and excellence, and acting as a role model and leading by example.<\/li>\n
  • Ability to prepare reports and deliver oral presentations.<\/li>\n
  • Excellent planning, coordinating, organizing and analyzing abilities are essential.<\/li>\n
