Web Designer Responsibilities:<\/p>\n

• Excellent knowledge of WordPress<\/li>\n
• Previous experience with online education website design will be an advantage<\/li>\n
• Excellent knowledge of website SEO principles<\/li>\n
• Excellent understanding of the Yoast plugin<\/li>\n
• Conceptualizing creative ideas.<\/li>\n
• Design, build, and maintain websites using authoring or scripting languages, content creation tools, management tools, and digital media;<\/li>\n
• Designing newsletter campaigns for Constant Contact<\/li>\n
• Testing and improving the creation of the website.<\/li>\n
• Establishing design guidelines, standards, and best practices.<\/li>\n
• Maintaining the appearance of websites by enforcing content standards.<\/li>\n
• Designing visual imagery for websites and ensuring that they align with clients' branding.<\/li>\n
• Working with different content management systems.<\/li>\n
• Communicating design ideas using user flows, process flows, site maps, and wireframes.<\/li>\n
• Incorporating functionalities and features into websites.<\/li>\n
• Designing sample pages, including colors and fonts.<\/li>\n
• Preparing design plans and presenting the website structure.<\/li>\n
• Coding the site's navigation<\/li>\n
• Designing buttons and other controls for the site<\/li>\n
• Fixing any functionality issues, including the removal of "dead links."<\/li>\n
• Updating and maintaining the site<\/li>\n
• Making backup files of the site<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  • Good understanding of content management systems.<\/li>\n
  • Good understanding of search engine optimization principles.<\/li>\n
  • Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues.<\/li>\n
  • Excellent visual design skills.<\/li>\n
  • Up-to-date experience with international web protocols, standards, and technologies.<\/li>\n
