Job Description:
Support the BDC\u2019s business growth strategy, partnerships and prospects – this is a core team position that will help support the organization to deliver its business development goals in the areas of employability, entrepreneurship and SMEs support, civil society engagement, and jobs growth. This position\u2019s main purpose is to support business development and communication activities with donors, clients and partners.
Duties\/Responsibilities:
Business Developm<\/p>\n

ent Support (70%):
\u00b7 Support the development of a business development pipeline of prospects, leads, proposals and new contracts
\u00b7 Support BDC\u2019s business relations and communications with donors in terms of new business
\u00b7 Develop concept notes and proposals
\u00b7 Support national and regional coordination, communications and meetings with donors, clients and partners in Jordan and the Middle East and North Africa
\u00b7 Support the development of the BDC\u2019s business development and communication products in coordination with project managers (capacity statement, success stories, presentation PowerPoint, case studies etc.)
\u00b7 Participate at donor and partner conferences and public events
Business Development Operations (30%):
\u00b7 Work closely with the monitoring and evaluation team to capture and communicate on key performance indicators across the BDC\u2019s projects and operations.
\u00b7 Support the delivery of the new business development strategy
\u00b7 Monitor and coordinate internal communications, feedback and inputs on the design of products and services for proposals
\u00b7 Collect data for communication products
\u00a7 Any other request by the management that falls within the general scope of this position.
Job requirement:
\u00a7 1-3 years of experience in Proposal writing, Business Development and Communication
\u00a7 Excellent negotiation skills
\u00a7 Ability to work closely and establish positive relationships with local structure and to engage with various stakeholders.
\u00a7 Excellent computer and organizational skills
\u00a7 Solid background in Microsoft Word and Excel
\u00a7 Ability to work on tight deadlines
\u00a7 Strong analytical and practical problem-solving skills, and ability to work effectively as a team member.<\/strong><\/p>\n
