eCommerce is an exciting new support function within Alshaya as the business launches transactional websites for a number of the 75+ brands and 15+ countries within the Alshaya portfolio. The function is rapidly building Alshaya's multi-channel capability to deliver customers choice and convenience when shopping in a number of rapidly growing online emerging markets. The function is split in to 4 key areas – Trading & Merchandising, Operations & Program Management, Design & Content and Digital Marketing.

To help us continue to grow our offerings, we're in search of an experienced product manager\/ Senior Business Analyst, lead our multi-disciplinary development team. As an ideal candidate, you will have a keen eye for gaps in consumer product offerings and the innovative mindset to fill them. You're a highly skilled analyst with a proven ability to strategize the full lifecycle of product production – from conception through release. You may already be a confident leader who has experience guiding cross-functional teams in the successful creation of products that improve consumer experience and grow market share.
Objectives of this Role<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n
• Drive the product and business-planning process across cross-functional teams of the company<\/li>\n
• Analyze consumer needs, current market trends, and potential partnerships from an ROI and build vs. buy perspective<\/li>\n
• Assess current competitor offerings, seeking opportunities for differentiation<\/li>\n
• Analyze product requirements and develop appropriate programs to ensure they're successful achieved<\/li>\n
• Develop, implement, and maintain production timelines across multiple departments<\/li>\n
• Appraise new product ideas and strategize appropriate to-market plans<\/li>\n
• Strategy & Planning <\/li>\n
• Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to de<\/li>\n
• fine business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve systems issues. <\/li>\n
• Lead design sessions in prototyping new systems for the purpose of enhancing business processes, operations, and information process flow. <\/li>\n
• Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems. <\/li>\n
• identify and establish scope and parameters of systems analysis in order to define outcome criteria and measure-taking actions. Acquisition & Deployment <\/li>\n
• Collaborate in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications, and enhancements to existing applications. <\/li>\n
• Conduct research on software and hardware products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Daily and Monthly Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

  \n
  • Drive the execution of all product lifecycle processes for products, including product research, market research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, roadmap development, requirements development, and product launch<\/li>\n
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototype construction and final product development by engineering teams<\/li>\n
  • Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI<\/li>\n
  • Analyze market data to develop sales strategies, and define product objectives for effective marketing communications plans<\/li>\n
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, production, marketing, and sales teams on the development, QA, and release of products and balance of resources to ensure success for the entire organization<\/li>\n
  • Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates Alshaya and its features across primary market segments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Skills and Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n

    • Bachelor's degree <\/li>\n
    • Strong experience in a dynamic product management role<\/li>\n
    • Proven experience overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle<\/li>\n
    • Highly effective cross-functional team management<\/li>\n
    • Previous experience delivering finely-tuned product marketing strategies<\/li>\n
    • Exceptional writing and editing skills combined with strong presentation and public speaking skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Preferred Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n

      • Master's degree <\/li>\n
      • Previous software and web development experience<\/li>\n
      • Proven experience working as a product developer in a non-managerial role<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
