The senior Accountant will provide support to the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks. You will be part of a team of professionals working to achieve the ultimate goal of Luminus Education.<\/p>\n
Overseeing the accounting department\u2019s daily operations, managing financial functions, having a problem-solving attitude, and being able to manage junior accountants are the main responsibilities of this position.<\/p>\n

Oversee daily transactions, including accounts payable\/receivable, general ledger, and bank accounts.<\/li>\n
Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.<\/li>\n
Manage month-end and year-end closing.<\/li>\n
Review all inter-company transactions and generate invoices as necessary.<\/li>\n
Assist with annual and interim audits and provide all audit requirements.<\/li>\n
Monitor the daily performance of the accounting department.<\/li>\n
Delegate financial responsibilities to the accounting team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

2. Minimum requirements:<\/p>\n
\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting and CMA or CPA is a plus.<\/li>\n
Minimum 5 years of working experience, with a minimum of 2 years experience as a Senior Accountant.<\/li>\n
Excellent written and spoken skills in Arabic and English.<\/li>\n
Excellent communication and presentation skills.<\/li>\n
Must be proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
