Project engineer to provide pre and post-cost control related to Civil \/ MEP for Interior fit-out big format retail stores.
Job Description<\/p>\n

\n
• Preparation of Tender Documents, BOQs, Estimates and Budgets.<\/li>\n
• Preparation of PR, RFQ & PO in ERP System.<\/li>\n
• Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings and site measurements.<\/li>\n
• Preparation of monthly cost and value reports.<\/li>\n
• Project cost monitoring and control.<\/li>\n
• Review the scope of works along with contract terms and conditions.<\/li>\n
• Prepares Bill of materials \/ quantity take off \/ variations if any.<\/li>\n
• Ensures timely and accurate invoicing and monitors receivables for project.<\/li>\n
• Thoroughly study shop drawings and as built for final project account statement and final bill of quantities.<\/li>\n
• Sourcing, negotiating, finalizing & approving the contractors along with Senior Project manager \/ Project manager.<\/li>\n
• Co-ordinate with the responsible supervisory personnel for the projects contractors and finalize Payment Certificates of contractors.<\/li>\n
• Track, Analyse & Report on capital expenditure.<\/li>\n
• Prepare necessary documents required for invoicing, variations and claims on regular basis.<\/li>\n
• Helping Project team for material pricing and rate analysis.<\/li>\n
• Ability to manage multiple projects .<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Skills\/Experience<\/p>\n

  \n
  • Front end experience with contactor site\/ fit out companies .<\/li>\n
  • Overall experience in field of MEP\/CIVIL sites from large EPC.<\/li>\n
  • Must have worked in large retail \/ commercial projects with exposure to complete life cycle.<\/li>\n
  • Hands-on experience in preparation of BOQ\/scope of deriving.<\/li>\n
  • Quantities from drawing\/ proposals.<\/li>\n
  • Rate Analysis.<\/li>\n
  • Pre-and Post-tender experience.<\/li>\n
  • Develop and maintain vendor database with item ,contractor and prepare suppliers evaluation list.<\/li>\n
  • Working knowledge in standard methods of measurements such as NRM, POMI, CESMM<\/li>\n
  • Experience in computerized measurement software such as CostX would be preferred<\/li>\n
  • Previous 5-year experience working in the Middle East (preferably from Consultancy \/ Contracting )<\/li>\n
  • Working toward MRICS or accreditation equivalent would be preferred but not essential<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Education<\/p>\n

    • BE\/ B.Tech in Civil Engineering or BSc in Quantity Surveying<\/li>\n
    • Degree in related Engineering courses (Civil \/Electrical \/ Mechanical Engineering or BSc Quantity Surveying)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
