Responsibilities:<\/p>\n

\n
• Plans, directs, supervises, and controls the execution of all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the assigned program, project, or subtask.<\/li>\n
• Acts as the Company representative with the client and selected suppliers during the program execution.<\/li>\n
• Negotiates changes to the scope of work with the client.<\/li>\n
• Assists business development in understanding client issues and business plans in order to market and secure new\/additional work.<\/li>\n
• Establishes the program requirements for all areas of the program, and monitors the draft and final deliverables for adherence to these criteria.<\/li>\n
• Promotes technical excellence on the program, including furtherance of the Quality Improvement Process.<\/li>\n
• Mobilizes Company resources, through effective liaison with support departments, other offices, or subsidiaries, to create project teams capable of completing effective, quality work.<\/li>\n
• Works with individual project managers to develop budgets, schedules and plans for the various elements of a project.<\/li>\n
• Ensures that the project meets or exceeds goals established in these plans.<\/li>\n
• Assigns responsibility for executing project plans to key subordinates after careful assessment of how to utilize their qualifications and strengths.<\/li>\n
• Provides input to performance reviews and development plans for subordinates.<\/li>\n
• Monitors and reports to management on the progress of all project activity within the program, including significant milestones, and any conditions which would affect project cost or schedule.<\/li>\n
• Works with individual project managers to devise and execute action plans to rectify potential cost overruns or delays, or to accommodate significant changes to the scope of work.<\/li>\n
• Advises the client and Company management of any such changes.<\/li>\n
• May participate in negotiations with regulatory agencies and in public meetings in support of clients.<\/li>\n
• Oversees establishment of Work Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance\/Quality Control Plan and other documents for hazardous waste work.<\/li>\n
• Completes other responsibilities associated with the position as may be appropriate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Requirements:<\/p>\n

  \n
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited institution<\/li>\n
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in construction supervision with 8 years experience in the UAE<\/li>\n
  • Experience in the construction of large scale infrastructure projects specifically bridges is required<\/li>\n
  • Prior experience must include significant project experience and successful project management<\/li>\n
  • Requires extensive knowledge of construction related processes, as well as a thorough knowledge of industry practices<\/li>\n
  • Demonstrated effective managerial capability, as well as strong written and oral communications skills<\/li>\n
  • Supervisory and management experience, is required. <\/li>\n
  • A professional registration would be a plus <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
