Title: Material Controller
Start Date: Immediately
Duration: 12 months (renewable)
Location: Doha, Qatar
Working Schedule: 9 hours per day\/6 days per week.
Job Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n
• To assist the Project Management Team and in particular the construction Manager in the material control, tracking, and documentation, from supplier handover up to storage in Contractor's premises and utilization by Contractor and <\/li>\n
• To organize and coordinate the material follow-up <\/li>\n
• Issue a weekly material report.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Key Job Accountabilities<\/strong>
  . Assist the project management team and in particular the Construction Manager in the material control, tracking, and documentation, from supplier handover up to storage in Contractor's premises and utilization by Contractor.
  . Establish with Contractor a system to track and report the daily use and location of used or stored material according to nesting plans. Monitor the trend of contingencies and verifies that no shortages are foreseen.
  . Issue a weekly material status report to the project management team
  . Participate in pre-shipment activities from supplier and Contractor's receiving activities, including damages, shortages, or quarantine material
  . Maintain a register of material issues and participate to their prompt resolution.
  . Expedite required documentation to handover to Contractor or receive from contractor when related to material.
  . Contribute to close-out report, including disposition of left-over material.
  . Attend to meeting as requested by his manager.
