We are currently looking for a Sr. Program Specialist to join our team!
The purpose of this position is to execute LSS Projects in Kuwait and based in Kuwait to deliver best in class solutions to meet customer expectations and within estimated financial performance. Lead the skills development, information sharing and project management discipline necessary to the deliver Projects in a timely manner at planned gross margins or higher in the region.
Join a team of development program professionals to support dev programs within one of Honeywell's businesses. You will help implement program plans, budgets, schedules and execute a programatic MOS, support forecasting & capacity analysis related to delivery requirements. You will play an important role in the IPDS process and strategies to achieve committed business performance. You will support business leaders and present programmatic details, requirements, actions, and status as assigned. You will also be working under moderate supervision of the program manager to execute on scope, schedule, cost, delivery, earned value & quality while demonstrating PM skills including risk managementKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n

\n
• Coodinate Cost Acct Managers<\/li>\n
• Overall responsibility for managing Projects in Kuwait from opportunitydevelopment stage to delivering the project successfully to customer.<\/li>\n
• Ensures on time delivery of projects, within scope with zero or positive deviation. <\/li>\n
• Maintains customer's satisfaction at acceptable levels and promptly resolves customer issues. <\/li>\n
• Ownership for Projects financial performance. Monitors financial performance monthly and reviews estimates versus actuals to continuously improve Projects operational metrics. <\/li>\n
• Effectively leads the implementation of productivity enhancing process changes related to project delivery. <\/li>\n
• Responsible for driving costs down to be competitive in the marketplace. <\/li>\n
• Controls cost and maximize productivity through the implementation of effective methods and standard processes. <\/li>\n
• Drive Remote Migration Services for all Migration projects.<\/li>\n
• Enhance utilization of GMSC for all Migration projects<\/li>\n
• Ensures the availability of tools, equipment, and materials required while maintaining and controlling inventory levels.<\/li>\n
• Ensures projects are resourced properly. <\/li>\n
• Participate in estimate review process prior to jobs being quoted to ensure labor estimates are correct and that the work is achievable from a technical perspective. Ensure that subcontracts, where applicable, are complete and documented. <\/li>\n
• Participate in material SIOP call with factory planners to provide forecast for Backlog and Front log project order demand to factory<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  YOU MUST HAVE<\/p>\n

  \n
  • BS degree or equivalent technical or management experience required.<\/li>\n
  • Minimum 5yrs thorough knowledge of handling LSS Projects field operations and financial processes<\/li>\n
  • The ability to demonstrate energy and determination to achieve results and improvement by overcoming obstacles, remaining effective despite setbacks, and challenging current thinking<\/li>\n
  • The ability to engage employees by providing relevant information in a timely manner using clear and compelling messages and by listening to and valuing input from employees.<\/li>\n
  • The ability to understand the implications and assess the appropriate degree of acceptable risk and take actions to minimize risk.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
