Overview of the role<\/p>\n

Supply & Inventory planner is part of inventory control team in Global Aftersales for Al Futtaim Automotive. The team is responsible for balancing the inventory cost with service level as per business recommendation. <\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Supply & Inventory planner is responsible for purchasing of inventory parts from respective vendors for Global aftersales division. This is achieved by periodic release of purchase orders to assigned vendors based on the sales trend, forecast, market information and business recommendations. The purpose of the role is to improve the stock turnover by reducing the risk of excess & obsolete stock.<\/p>\n

What you will do<\/p>\n

\n
• Daily, weekly or month purchase orders processing <\/li>\n
• Ensure orders are transmitted to supplier and confirmation is received <\/li>\n
• Ensure orders are dispatched within the agreed lead time <\/li>\n
• Monitor and follow up on back orders<\/li>\n
• Communicate to suppliers about changes in forecast<\/li>\n
• Prepare the budget as per order schedule and business recommendation<\/li>\n
• Ensure stock availability by performing of risk of run out analysis and ordering <\/li>\n
• New model parts planning and ordering<\/li>\n
• Obtain approvals as per delegation of authority<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Required skills to be successful<\/p>\n

  \n
  • Degree or any related education in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering and Logistics<\/li>\n
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the field of Supply Chain, preferably with automotive experience (not mandatory)<\/li>\n
  • Knowledge on Business intelligence tools like Tableau, Power BI, Alrteryx<\/li>\n
  • Experience in a multinational environment focusing on data analytics<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    About the team<\/p>\n

    The role will report to the Operations Manager in the Material Management division and you will be working alongside with other highly analytical, motivated, results driven Supply and Inventory Planners. <\/p>\n

    What equips you for the role<\/p>\n

    \n
    • Degree or any related education in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering and Logistics <\/li>\n
    • Minimum of 2-3 years\u2019 work experience in a multinational environment.<\/li>\n
    • 2+ years of hands-on work experience using analytical tools like Tableau, Power BI & Alrteryx to solve real world problems preferably knowledge on material management<\/li>\n
    • Exceptional communication skills, especially around translating technical knowledge into forms that can be digested by leadership and non-technical project teams<\/li>\n
    • Strong MS packages knowledge with excellent PowerPoint skills is a must<\/li>\n
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills <\/li>\n
    • Highly adaptable with meticulous attention to detail<\/li>\n
    • Excellent organizational abilities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
