Overview of the role<\/p>\n

This function will support in establishing budget, budget controls and analysis as well as supporting the project costing function throughout the entire project life for Facilities Management department. <\/p>\n

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:<\/p>\n

Business analysis<\/p>\n

• In close cooperation with Commercial Manager and FM this function will establish Project budgeting and analyze monthly project profitability and cash flow <\/li>\n
• Support Business decision process by providing sound Business Case Analysis and prepare analytical reports in support of Projects Performance Management<\/li>\n
• Monthly project reviews addressing projects profitability and cash flow compared to Budget as well as any deviation that might impact project profitability and viability. <\/li>\n
• Provide guidance to improve project\u2019s cash flow focusing on activities impacting Working Capital Management and WIP accounts in view of improving Free Cash Flow (FCF)<\/li>\n
• Liaison with the external auditors and internal audit teams in implementing audit Recommendations.<\/li>\n
• Provide support for preparing Business Plan & Variance Analysis and Risk and Opportunities <\/li>\n
• Monitor Billing cycle to reduce WIP <\/li>\n
• Maintain historical cost trend for estimations and tenders <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  OPERATIONAL ENVIRONMENT:<\/p>\n

  • This function is directly linked to the project profitability of AFE&T. <\/li>\n
  • AFE&T\u2019s activity spans over UAE, Qatar and KSA with expansion plans over most of the GCC Region. <\/li>\n
  • This function is exposed to highly sensitive and confidential information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    What you will do<\/p>\n

    Support & Assist Finance Management in<\/p>\n

    \n
    • Budgeting Exercise.<\/li>\n
    • Forecasting\/Strategic Planning.<\/li>\n
    • Project Accounting, Monthly Book Closure.<\/li>\n
    • Other Business presentations to management etc.<\/li>\n
    • Intercompany dealing of Accounts receivable & Accounts payable.<\/li>\n
    • Track on Accounts Receivable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Support & Assist Operations Heads and Project Managers<\/p>\n

      \n
      • Project costing.<\/li>\n
      • Project profitability and performance measures.<\/li>\n
      • Support in identifying productivity improvement opportunities.<\/li>\n
      • Timely reviewing variances and Project P&L implications.<\/li>\n
      • Support in claim management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Key Process Improvements & changes in SAP in coordination with EIT <\/p>\n

        • Budgetary control \u2013 PS Module.<\/li>\n
        • Manpower Productivity\/Tracking etc. <\/li>\n
        • SOP-Cost to Complete (CTC) \/Man hours \/ Revenue control process etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Project Cost & Project Revenue controls<\/p>\n

          • Review of detailed Project Costs, revision of estimates, propose changes and improvements.<\/li>\n
          • Assist in Monthly revenue recognition and ensure all revenue controls in place to avoid any revenue leakage \u2013workings on IFRS\/loss making contracts etc. <\/li>\n
          • Project Cash Flow forecasts an actuals.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            Job-Specific Technical Skills:<\/p>\n

            • Position requires strong communication skills, analytical abilities, detailed approach, hands on experience in Microsoft advance excel & reporting. <\/li>\n
            • Preferably with experience on SAP. <\/li>\n
            • Knowledge of International Accounting Standards & IFRS.<\/li>\n
            • Good Command of English, Arabic language is an asset.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                University Degree with major in Finance \/ Accounting or Equivalent with knowledge of International Accounting Standards (IFRS), law and Tax <\/p>\n
