Designer I – Electrical<\/p>\n

1. Scope of Responsibilities<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Preparing the drawings and necessary documents related to \u2018Design & Drafting\u2019 group as per the guidelines\/instructions given by Senior designers\/Lead designer and Engineers.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

2. Primary Duties:-<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

\uf053 Preparing the drawings as per mark-ups\/Vendor drawings (documents)\/design calculations\/instructions given by Senior Designers and Engineers.
\uf053 Preparing the TDR for the Project\/Job\/assigned area.
\uf053 Carry out all drafting activities as per the Company\/Client\/Project specifications and PFI drafting norms.
\uf053 Perform Lighting calculations for Indoor\/Outdoor areas using Lighting software.
\uf053 Consult Senior\u2019s\/Engineer\u2019s to resolve the IDC comments in case of any critical interface is required.
\uf053 Adopting the Guidelines and Standards illustrated in Cad Manual\/Job Drafting basis for making the drawings.
\uf053 Preparing the \u2018As-built\u2019 drawings as per the site mark-ups\/final Vendor drawings\/latest available information from Engineer.
\uf053 Producing IDC documents, follow-up and resolving the conflicts \/ decisions with other disciplines.
\uf053 Prepare and develop Installation standard drawings in line with project requirement.
\uf053 Preparation of cable schedule, Cable drum schedule \/ cable cutting schedule.
\uf053 Cable trench \/ tray loading details. Designing of trench \/ tray size considering future expansion and permissible tolerance specified in project\/Job\/Client specification.
\uf053 Keeping records and maintaining files of all the produced drawings\/documents in \u2018Design & Drafting department as per the Guidelines mentioned in Cad Manual\/Drafting basis.<\/p>\n

3. Minimum Job Requirement:-<\/em><\/strong>
\uf053 Diploma in Engineering or Certificate course with a minimum of 5 years of experience with EPC contractor\/Consultants\/Design office. Exposure to Electrical engineering basics & knowledge.
\uf053 For change of grade, minimum One year experience in Petrofac electrical design department is required.
\uf053 For Omani nationals, the years of experience is as per Omani Market Norms<\/p>\n
