Responsibilities:<\/p>\n

• Reviewing designs created by designers to ensure they are functional and meet usability standards<\/li>\n
• Participating in code reviews and testing new features to ensure they are compatible with existing features<\/li>\n
• Writing code using a variety of programming languages, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.<\/li>\n
• Communicating with other team members regarding goals and progress of projects<\/li>\n
• Work with Product Management and other stakeholders (Backend, UX, etc.) to iterate on new features.<\/li>\n
• Craft code that meets our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale web environment. Maintain and advocate for these standards through code review.<\/li>\n
• Consistently ship small features and improvements with minimal guidance and support from other team members. Collaborate with the team on larger projects.<\/li>\n
• Help improve the overall experience of our product by improving the quality of the Frontend features both in your group and features that benefit other groups.<\/li>\n
• Help identify areas of improvement in the code base, both specific to your group and outside your group (e.g., component library), and help contribute to making it better<\/li>\n
• Learn, collaborate, and teach other Frontend Engineers. Everyone can contribute something new to the team regardless of how long they\u2019ve been in the industry.<\/li>\n
• Advocate for product quality, security, and performance improvements that have a particular impact on your team.<\/li>\n
• Solve technical problems of high scope and complexity.<\/li>\n
• Exert influence on the overall vision and long-range goals of your team. This could be technical and\/or product-focused.<\/li>\n
• Experience with performance and optimization problems, particularly at a large scale, and a demonstrated ability to diagnose and prevent these problems<\/li>\n

• Provide mentorship for Junior and Intermediate Engineers in your section to help them grow in their technical responsibilities and remove blockers.<\/li>\n
• Develop and document detailed architectures of the front-end frameworks, initiate and maintain complete training materials, and keep these updated as per the continuous improvement program.<\/li>\n

  Skills:<\/p>\n

  1. A Solid experience with native Javascript development, with hands-on experience in ES6 and ES5.<\/li>\n
  2. Professional experience with VueJS and knowledge of any other modern JavaScript web framework such as (React, Angular, or Ember) is a plus.<\/li>\n
  3. A solid understanding of core web and browser concepts (e.g., how the browser parses and constructs a web page)<\/li>\n
  4. A solid understanding of semantic HTML, CSS, and core JavaScript concepts.<\/li>\n
  5. Deep understanding and experience of DOM manipulation and CSS preprocessor.<\/li>\n
  6. Experience in developing reusable web-based interfaces. with abilities to build custom UI components from the ground up.<\/li>\n
  7. Experience using Git in a professional\/workplace environment.<\/li>\n
