Job description
You will be the technical correspondent for Egis for our local rail projects. To carry out the projects, you will collaborate with a local and international team.
Under responsibility of the project Director, your activities will include but not be limited to:<\/p>\n
As Design Manager, be the organizer of the design process, ensuring technical output meets the client\u2019s and project\u2019s technical requirements.<\/p>\n
Manage Egis\u2019 internal technical staff as well as subcontractors design phase.<\/p>\n
Review design undertaken by Egis and subcontractors to ensure it meets the requirements of projects.<\/p>\n
Mentor and train Design Engineers, developing their technical and professional skills and knowledge.<\/p>\n
Find solutions to remediate project issues (eg due to technical requirements or time schedules)<\/p>\n
Build and manage relationships with clients and partners involved directly or indirectly in the project<\/p>\n
Offer to our clients technical support and services depending on your own field of competence (systems, civils, system integration) and domain of experience (urban metro or tramway, conventional or high speed rail)<\/p>\n
Participate and support review and approvals processes, including from sub-designers.
Profile<\/p>\n
Civil \/ Structural Engineering degree at a minimum Bachelors level.<\/p>\n
Experience in design management and technical project management.<\/p>\n
Excellent skills in organizing and coordinating design teams.<\/p>\n
Thanks to your excellent interpersonal skills, you will be able to create a long-term relationship of trust with partners, clients, colleagues and other stakeholders. <\/p>\n
Flexible to travel within the region to support colleagues on various projects.<\/p>\n
Fluency in Arabic & English is essential.
