A luxury Asian Fine Dining Restaurant (Thai) in Bahrain is looking for an experienced well seasoned Head Chef (Thai ) The Head Chef will be primarily responsible for <\/p>\n

creating innovative cuisine and providing a satisfying culinary experience for guests. <\/p>\n

The Head Chef will have the flexibility to set up the team to assist them to operate optimally. <\/p>\n

Main Responsibilities<\/p>\n

• Overseeing daily operations of the staff and kitchen<\/li>\n
• Ongoing creation of innovative new menu items<\/li>\n
• Motivating, training and educating all kitchen staff<\/li>\n
• Considering the needs of the guests in all decisions<\/li>\n
• Ordering and purchasing ingredients and maintaining necessary inventory<\/li>\n
• Abide by all safety regulations to ensure employee safety and restaurant cleanliness<\/li>\n
• Ensuring guest satisfaction and seek feedback on menu items<\/li>\n
• Maintaining quality continually of the culinary product<\/li>\n
• Administrative duties related to staff and other management matters.<\/li>\n
• Control and direct the food preparation process and any other relative activities<\/li>\n
• Construct menus with new or existing culinary creations ensuring the variety and quality of the servings<\/li>\n
• Approve and polish dishes before they reach the customer<\/li>\n
• Plan orders of equipment or ingredients according to identified shortages<\/li>\n
• Arrange for repairs when necessary<\/li>\n
• Remedy any problems or defects<\/li>\n
• Be fully in charge of hiring, managing and training kitchen staff<\/li>\n
• Oversee the work of subordinates<\/li>\n
• Estimate staffs workload and compensations<\/li>\n
• Maintain records of payroll and attendance<\/li>\n
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards<\/li>\n
• Foster a climate of cooperation and respect between co-workers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
