Duties and Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Building, running and managing the day-to-day operations of the security operations center, Investigating incidents and leading response efforts as applicable and when needed.<\/p>\n
Maintain engineering and security documentation, and assist customers to fully optimize the SIEM system capabilities of the audit and logging features of the event log sources.<\/p>\n
Creation of technically detailed reports on the status of the SIEM to include metrics on items such as number of logging sources.<\/p>\n
Working alongside the SOC Unit Team and Automation Unit team for configuring, maintaining, tuning, and enhancing the SIEM platform.<\/p>\n
Responsible for the investigation \u2013 log and network forensics to identify leads. <\/p>\n
Support security engineering requirements for projects, transitions, and transformations<\/p>\n
Design and implement solutions to address business problems in various industry verticals.<\/p>\n
Experience with implementing and administering Splunk.
REQUIREMENTS: <\/p>\n
B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent <\/p>\n
5+ years of experience in information system architecture methodologies, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. <\/p>\n
Splunk Admin Certification or higher<\/p>\n
Experience with databases. <\/p>\n
Has a broad experience from either a development or operations perspective <\/p>\n
Drive complex deployments of Splunk dashboards and reports while working side by side with the customers to solve their unique problems across a variety of use cases <\/p>\n
Assist internal users of Splunk in designing and maintaining production-quality dashboards. <\/p>\n
High skills in writing High-level documentation.
Technical:
Must have:<\/p>\n
Experience in design, implementation, and support of Splunk (Indexers, Forwarders, Search-Heads Setup etc) <\/p>\n
Experience with implementing and administering Splunk. <\/p>\n
Good understanding of virtualization technologies (Hypervisor, VMware, etc) <\/p>\n
Apps\/Dashboards for license usage and Application errors. <\/p>\n
Experience with Linux and Windows agents for Splunk administration with a solid understanding of the Splunk system. <\/p>\n
Ability to create operations documentation for maintaining the Splunk infrastructure. <\/p>\n
Setting up Splunk Forwarding for new application tiers introduced into the environment. <\/p>\n
Identifying bad searches\/dashboards and partnering with the creators to improve performance. <\/p>\n
Troubleshooting Splunk performance issues \/ Opening support cases with Splunk. <\/p>\n
Monitor the Splunk infrastructure for capacity planning and optimization. <\/p>\n
Troubleshoot log feeds, field extractions, search time, etc. <\/p>\n
Restrict access to sensitive logs\/data <\/p>\n
Experience in onboarding new data, Inputting new information, Creating new dashboards, and Extraction info through Splunk <\/p>\n
